Abstract:
The present invention is directed toward a display package for an animated doll or similar toy product that facilitates demonstration of the toy's animated features. The display package provides an enclosure that houses the doll. The doll includes an animation mechanism that drives a portion of the toy from a first position to a second position. The display package may include a moveable display panel mounted within the enclosure. The display panel is selectively engaged by the toy when the animation mechanism is engaged. The display package may further include an attachment that stabilizes the display panel. In addition, the display package may include a support member that supports the toy within the package and permits the animation mechanism to move the doll from a first display position to a second display position.
Abstract:
A packaging configuration of a device inside a package maintains a plug or connector of the device accessible externally of the package, without having to open the package. The plug or connector is accessible to test the connectivity or to power or communicate with the device.
Abstract:
The side wall portion of a plastic article, as a plastic container, is opaque and includes a transparent portion, as a view stripe. The opaque portion limits viewing the inside of the article, whereas the transparent portion permits viewing the inside of the article therethrough. A method for forming the plastic article is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A flexible package for displaying, accessing and transporting dry goods which includes an upper member, a lower member and four side members inter-engaged along adjacent edges forming an inner area. An opening is formed in one of the forming members allowing access to the inner area of the package. A flexible patch having a pair of generally parallel spaced openings forming a strip there between is secured to the one forming member with the strip positioned over and covering the opening. The package is constructed to display the goods stored in the inner area, to allow access to the inner area through the opening for ascertaining the texture of the goods and to provide ease of transport by utilization of the strip as a carrying handle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a package and method of transportation for items of electrical apparatus. The items are required to be packaged for transport from the manufacturing location to a storage facility and then on to an end user. At the storage facility, preinstallation checks and procedures, also called staging, are performed on the items of apparatus including, in some instances the downloading of software and control features via electrical connection. The invention avoids the conventional need to remove the items of apparatus at the storage location for the performance of the checks and procedures by providing a package with selectively removable portions which, when removed, allow the required access to the components of the apparatus without needing to remove same from the package.
Abstract:
A display pack includes a housing and a cover pivotally secured together to receive tool members. A seat is extended from the housing and includes an opening to rotatably receive a rotary member, and includes a toothed portion. The rotary member also includes a toothed portion to engage with the toothed portion of the seat, and to generate click when the rotary member is rotated relative to the seat. A driving tool includes a driving shank extended from a head to engage into the rotary member, and to rotate the rotary member relative to the seat and the housing. The cover includes a casing to rotatably retain the head of the driving tool between the seat and the casing.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A transparent plastic package containing a pair of non-prescription reading glasses. The temples of the reading glasses pass through openings in the rear wall of the package. The package includes a nose notch. The reading glasses can be tested by a consumer, while in the package, by opening the temples, placing her nose in the notch and placing the temples over her ears. The consumer can then look through the lenses of the reading glasses, to test them for proper magnification.
Abstract:
A reusable container is formed from a plurality of interlocking panels 1, 16, and each of the panels includes a communication unit (30, 32) capable of communicating with at least one of the other panels such that the communication units co-operate to form an integrated electronic monitoring system for monitoring the structural integrity of the container. Communication may be by means of a wire bus or a non-wire link. Each panel has an electronic identifier. A key panel (16) includes a master communication unit which holds a container identifier and can be programmed with a delivery address. The key panel is capable of communicating with an external docking station to ensure correct delivery.
