Abstract:
A back door hinge mounting structure comprising a pair of bolts connected with to each other at the central portion thereof and threaded at the opposed ends thereof, one end of the opposed ends connected to the roof panel with the other of the opposed ends to the fixed leaf of the back door hinge and a hinge cap for covering the mounting bolts which can be mounted and removed only when the back door is open, so that access to the mounting bolts with the back door closed is avoided.
Abstract:
Rotary drive, particularly for vehicle doors, in which the piston motion of a piston-power cylinder-unit 5 is converted into a rotary motion by means of roller pairs 14 which engage into oblique slots 10, 11. The oblique slots are provided in cylinders 4, 6 arranged coaxially inside each other and one of the cylinders is connected to the power output shaft 7. The slots exhibit an axial direction at their ends. Herein the cover 2 of a pot-shaped housing 1, through which cover the power output shaft 7 passes, exhibits a collar 15 projecting outwards and embracing the power output shaft. The power output shaft 7 is provided with a cup-type seal 17 seated firmly upon it, whose surface contour 18 overlaps outwardly the collar 15 and which with its edge 19 rests tightly at the cover 2. The cover is provided with an axially oriented groove 20 on its side facing away from the collar, into which groove the edge of the pot-shaped housing 1 is tightly fitted.
Abstract:
A decorative cover for mounting on butt-hinges to conceal the exposed portions thereof to improve the aesthetic appearance. The cover includes flap portions which are attached to the leaf members of the hinge to place an arcuate in cross section hump portion of the cover in overlaying relationship with the knuckles of the hinge. The decorative hinge cover is formed of an elastomeric material to allow it to conformingly move with the hinge.
Abstract:
A sliding door support assembly having a preassembled track assembly including a split cylindrical elongate track having a flat surface on the top and a number of mounting brackets secured to the flat surface at spaced intervals and a number of support members for supporting an elongate track cover, the support members being mounted on said track assembly after the door has been mounted in the track assembly and being selected to correspond to a particular type of track cover.
Abstract:
The closing mechanism of an automatic door closing arrangement is partly enveloped by an elongated unitary casing of sheet metal. Flanges on two of the longitudinal casing walls bound therebetween an opening in the casing which may be closed by a panel releasably retained by the flanges. Provisions are made for attaching the casing to a door and for linking the output element of the closing mechanism to a door frame. The panel may be removed simply and without tools for access to the mechanism or for replacement by another panel of different decorative appearance.
Abstract:
An assembly of a track member for suspended doors designed for ceiling or door opening header mounting having a separate fascia member mechanically interlocking therewith and secured in place and laterally supported by a spring member.
