Abstract: This Application sets forth techniques for profile, e.g., subscriber identity module (SIM) and electronic SIM (eSIM), and cellular wireless service subscription management for a wireless device. The wireless device can support multiple profiles, such as dual SIMS or a single SIM and one or more eSIMs. A user of the wireless device can flexibly enable and disable various eSIMs or change the use of physical SIMs with different associated cellular wireless service subscriptions, and mapping of subscription modules to logical channels and physical hardware interfaces can occur automatically, with mechanisms to reset interfaces when required.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE), or other network component can operate to configure different sets of resources including different sequence lengths for an uplink (UL) transmission via a UL channel. A first length or at least one of different second lengths can be selected to configure the UL transmission based on one or more conditions, which can include a coexisting radio access technology (RAT), a UE capability, an occupied channel bandwidth (OCB), the type of UL transmission or the like. The UL transmission can be based on at least one of: the first or the second sequence length such as for an initial access procedure based on the coexisting RAT and the OCB, for example.

Abstract: An application layer in a device, a service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layer in the device, and/or a media access control (MAC) layer in the device may determine that wireless communication resources allocated to the device need to be adjusted. The determination may be in response to detecting that a quality of the wireless connection of the device has deteriorated, or it may be based on advance knowledge of information pertaining to an application layer payload in the device. In response to the determination the device may transmit, in a MAC Control Element (MAC CE) to a base station, a request for an adjustment of the allocated wireless communication resources. The adjustment may lead to a temporary boost of resources for a limited period of time or to a persistent update of the allocated wireless communication resources. To allow better scheduling of multiple QoS flows mapped to the same DRB and better selection of data when constructing a MAC Packet Data Unit (PDU), a mapping between QoS flows and LCHs may also be provided to the MAC layer.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to devices, apparatuses, and methods for enhanced PHR reporting in support of UE antenna scaling. A wireless device, which comprises at least one antenna array each comprising a plurality of antenna elements may perform antenna scaling by activating or deactivating at least one of the plurality of antenna elements (with corresponding RF chains) of one or more antenna arrays. The wireless device may generate a power headroom (PHR) report based at least on a difference between beamforming gains obtained after the antenna scaling and before the antenna scaling. The wireless device may then send the PHR report to a base station in communication with the wireless device.
