摘要: An approach is described for a user equipment (UE), wherein the UE includes radio front end circuitry and processor circuitry coupled to the radio front end circuitry. The processor circuitry receives a reference signal from a source device via a radio link, wherein the reference signal is one of the synchronization signal block (SSB) signal or channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS). The processor circuitry measures a quality of the reference signal, and measures an evaluation time of the reference signal. The processor circuitry determines a first indicator of the radio link based on the quality of the reference signal, and determine a second indicator of the radio link based on the evaluation time of the reference signal. The processor circuitry then determines a status of a connection of the radio link based on the first indicator and the second indicator of the radio link, and generate a message based the status of the connection. The radio front end circuitry then transmits the message to the source device.

摘要: A method for enhanced autonomous uplink timing adjustment includes determining that a user equipment (UE) is traveling above a predetermined velocity. In response to the determination that the UE is traveling above the predetermined velocity, a maximum aggregate adjustment rate to an uplink timing for the UE and a maximum amount of a magnitude of a timing change to the uplink timing for the UE are determined. The uplink timing for the UE is adjusted based on the maximum aggregate adjustment rate and the maximum amount of the magnitude of the timing change.

摘要: Methods and apparatus provide for a wireless network to enable multiple-transmission reception point (multi-TRP) uplink (UL) time division multiplexed (TDMed) repetition transmission. The network may receive, from a user equipment (UE), beam measurements of downlink reference signals associated with a plurality of UL transmission beams from the UE to the multi-TRP. Based on criteria associated with the beam measurements received from the UE, the network enables the UE for the multi-TRP UL TDMed repetition transmission using the plurality of UL transmission beams. In addition, or in other scenarios, coordination is provided between the network and the UE to improve UL TDMed repetition transmissions when a UE switches between antenna panels.

摘要: Methods to enhance the coverage of NR systems for coverage-limited wireless devices are disclosed. A serving base station may configure a coverage-limited UE with parameters for the UE to operate in a coverage enhancement mode through RRC signaling, DCI, or RAR grant. The UE may use the configuration parameters to determine whether to enter into the coverage enhancement mode when connecting and communicating with the serving base station. The configuration parameters may configure the UE to exploit both time diversity and frequency diversity to extend and enhance coverage when receiving the PDSCH and PDCCH channels, when transmitting the PUSCH and PUCCH channel, and when transmitting PUSCH Msg3 during random access. Advantageously, the base station may flexibly and dynamically configure the UE with coverage enhancement parameters to extend the coverage of the UE using time diversity and frequency diversity gains as the UE moves around.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may transmit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback when part of a group of UEs. The UE receives a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) associated with a group of UEs that includes the UE. The UE monitors for a signal from one of a cell on which the UE is currently camped or a cell to which the UE is currently connected that is scrambled by the RNTI and includes control information. The UE transmits HARQ feedback to the one of the currently camped cell or currently connected cell, the HARQ feedback associated with the signal and, when the signal is received, performs an operation in response to the control information.

A user equipment device (UE) may receive a configuration for SRS time domain bundling from a base station and may transmit, to the base station, at least one SRS transmission in accordance with the configuration. The configuration may include an indication of (and/or indicate) one or more SRS transmission occasions. The configuration may be communicated via higher layer signaling or physical layer signaling. The RRC parameter may be an SRS-ResourceSet parameter or an SRS-Resource parameter and may include a nrofSlots parameter to indicate the number of slots, where a slot may correspond to an SRS transmission occasion. The MAC CE may include at least four bits indicating the number of slots. The DCI may include at least one field indicating the number of slots.

摘要: Methods, circuitries, and systems are disclosed for configuring multiple PDSCH/PUSCH transmission with repetition of each transmission. In one example, a method includes receiving, from a base station, control information that indicates i) time domain resources for communication of at least two physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or at least two physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions and ii) at least one repetition number indicating a number of times each of the at least two PDSCH/PUSCH transmissions is repeated. The method includes configuring operation to receive the at least two PDSCH transmissions or to transmit the at least two PUSCH transmissions based on the time domain resources and repetition number.
