The UE receives a PCC measurement object (MO) configuration, a PSCC MO configuration, and an inter-frequency MO with no measurement gap configuration, determines a PCC MO carrier specific scaling factor (CSSF), a PSCC MO CSSF, and an inter-frequency MO with no measurement gap CSSF and applies each respective CSSF to a measurement period corresponding to each of the PCC MO, the PSCC MO, and the inter-frequency MO with no measurement gap to determine a scaled measurement period corresponding to each of the PCC MO, the PSCC MO, and the inter-frequency MO with no measurement gap.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may support concurrent synchronization signal block (SSB) inter-frequency measurement without a measurement gap (MG). The UE may also, or alternatively, support concurrent SSB inter-frequency measurement in intra-band scenarios (e.g., where a target inter-frequency cell and serving cell are on the same band) and/or inter-band scenarios (e.g., where a target inter-frequency cell and serving cell are on the same band). The UE may report concurrent SSB based inter-frequency measurement as a NEEDFORGAP information element (IE), which may include one or more of a variety of parameters regarding UE measurement capabilities. Scheduling restrictions (e.g., restrictions to downlink and uplink communications) are also enabled based on UE measurement capabilities, including scheduling restriction for frequency range 1 (FR1), frequency range 2 (FR2), and cross frequency range scenarios.

摘要: A user equipment (UE), baseband processor or other network device (e.g., base station, next generation NodeB, etc.) can operate to configure a hand over (HO) or a primary secondary cell (PSCell) addition based on a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) based contention free random access (CFRA) procedure. A CSI-RS rough timing of a CSI-RS position can be determined based on a synchronization signal block (SSB) associated with a CSI-RS or a serving cell timing. A CFRA transmit timing can be determined based on the CSI-RS rough timing or a CSI-RS fine timing that is derived from a timing and frequency (T/F) tracking operation on the CSI-RS. Reference signal receive power (RSRP) measurement(s) can be made on the CSI-RS for performing the CSI-RS based CFRA procedure with transmissions according to the CSI-RS transmit timing of the CSI-RS that satisfies an RSRP threshold.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing dual active protocol stack handovers in a frequency range above 24 GHz. A UE may transmit an indication to a base station indicating a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) handover capability of the UE corresponding to a frequency range (FR) above 24 GHz. The UE may receive, from a target cell of the one or more cells, a command to perform a DAPS handover from a source cell to the target cell. While performing the DAPS handover and maintaining a data connection with the source cell, the UE may perform measurements on the target cell followed by a physical random access channel (PRACH) procedure. The UE may then receive a source cell release command from the target cell and release the data connection with the source cell.

The processor is configured to receive a Time advance (TA) indicator together with a handover command from a source base station in a source coverage, wherein the TA indicator comprises information for determining a TA used for an uplink transmission with a target base station in a target coverage, the handover command is a Layer 1 handover command or a Layer 2 handover command, and the source coverage and the target coverage are identified by different Physical Cell identifiers; and in response to the handover command, determine the TA used for the uplink transmission with the target base station based on the information.

摘要: Techniques discussed herein may better ensure efficient fine time tracking during a second cell (SCell) activation procedure by using a tracking reference signal (TRS) that is User Equipment (UE) specific. A primary cell (PCell) may provide a UE with a TRS configuration that includes a UE-specific reference signal (RS) with periodicity or aperiodicity. In response to receiving a SCell activation command from the PCell, the UE may perform cell activation with fine time tracking in accordance with the UE-specific RS. As the delay time for the UE-specific RS may be less than the delay time for a system synchronization block (SSB) from the SCell, use of the UE-specific RS may expedite the cell activation procedure.
