摘要: An apparatus may include a non-linear module, a control module, and a calibration module. The non-linear module produces an output signal from an input signal. The control module selects, upon an occurrence of a calibration condition, a calibration operation from two or more calibration operations. Each of the two or more calibration operations may generate one or more correction values for the non-linear module. Further, each of the calibration operations produces the input signal from a pre-input signal. This selected calibration operation is performed by the calibration module. The two or more calibration operations include a first calibration operation and a second calibration operation. The first calibration operation produces the input signal from the pre-input signal according to a predictive technique. The second calibration operation produces the input signal from the pre-input signal according to a non-predictive technique.

摘要: Techniques for suspending a TCP three-way handshake, offering the partial connection to an L-7 application or module at a proxy to perform further processing, and then allowing the L-7 application or module to instruct the proxy's network kernel to perform various actions are described. In various embodiments these actions may include: silently dropping the connection, verbosely rejecting the connection, accepting and processing the connection locally, or forwarding the connection to another proxy or the original destination. This additional functionality is provided, in one particular embodiment, via extensions to the POSIX socket API.

摘要: A method, comprising the steps of receiving a timeout setting, determining a selected timer unit of one of a first timer unit and a second timer unit, wherein a first set of slots is included in the first timer unit and a second set of slots is included in the second timer unit. The selected one of the timer units being determined by determining a maximum time period of the first timer unit based on a number of slots in the first set of slots and a granularity which defines a relationship between each slot in the first set of slots, comparing the timeout setting to the maximum time period of the first timer unit, and incrementing to the second timer unit if the timeout setting is greater than the maximum time period of the first timer unit. Determining one of the first slots and the second slots into which the timeout setting is to be inserted and inserting the timeout setting into the one of the slots.

摘要: Systems and methods for identifying conditions in a sample obtain a set of sample sequence reads from the sample. For each respective read, or respective sample contig derived from a respective subset of the set, a corresponding sequence comparison between the respective read or contig and each reference sequence in a set of reference sequences is performed. There is calculated, from these sequence comparisons, a respective probability that the respective read or contig corresponds to a particular reference sequence in the set of reference sequences thereby computing a plurality of probabilities. The presence or an absence of each of the conditions in the sample is identified based at least in part on these probabilities. One condition is identification of a species present in the sample, and the percentage of the genome of this species identified in the reads is provided.
