摘要: A method of treating a handover in a bridge-based radio access station backbone network including a plurality of base station bridges each including a two-tiered switch connected with a plurality of radio access stations, a plurality of SCBs (Site Core Bridges) each composed of two-tiered switch for constituting the core network, and an HLR (Home Location Register) for managing the structural information of the network constituents. The SCB stores the terminal information containing the receiving address of the initial terminal registration message and the SCB to delete the terminal information in response to a disconnection message of the terminal caused by handover, to request the SCBs in the terminal end of the old MAC-in-MAC tunnel to delete the tunnel information and the terminal information, and to inform the HLR of initiating the handover to change the registered operational state of the terminal.

摘要: A TDM PON including: an optical line terminal; a remote node including multiple secondary optical distributors connected to multiple optical network units; and the multiple optical network units generating and outputting a corresponding upstream optical signal. Each of the secondary optical distributors splits an upstream optical signal input from one of the optical network units connected thereto so as to generate split upstream optical signals and transmits one of the upstream optical signals to the optical line terminal, and transmits another upstream optical signal to a different optical network unit.

摘要: A scheduling method in a distributed antenna system is provided. Each of a plurality of Mobile Stations (MSs), respectively corresponding to each subchannel, are classified as a Single Transmission (ST) MS or a Cooperative Transmission (CT) MS according to a CT criterion. An MS with a maximum channel capacity is selected from among the classified MSs. Resources arc allocated to a corresponding subchannel when the selected MS is the ST MS, and resources arc allocated using a CT scheduling technique when the selected MS is the CT MS. The classifying, selecting and allocating steps are repeated until allocation of resources is completed.

摘要: A duobinary optical transmission device provides duobinary optical transmission with improved quality by a technique that does not require an electrical low pass filter LPF.A duobinary optical transmission device includes at least one semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). A light source outputs a carrier wave as an optical signal. A precoder encodes an input of a non-return-to-zero (NRZ) electrical signal. An interferometer type semiconductor optical amplification unit modulates the carrier wave according to a change of an applied bias current coupled to the encoded signal. An optical band pass filter (OBPF) receives the phase-modulated optical signal from the semiconductor optical amplification unit, filters the received phase-modulated optical signal according to a designated band, and outputs an optical duobinary signal.
