More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for performing RA procedure in EC mode in a wireless system, the method comprising: selecting a first random access preamble based on a first CE level, when the UE operates in EC mode with the first CE level, transmitting the first random access preamble for a configured number of times, which is determined based on the first CE level, to an eNB, receiving a BI from the eNB within a RAR window associated with the first random access preamble, calculating a BPV based on the received BI and the first CE level, and selecting and transmitting a second random access preamble based on a second CE level, wherein the second random access preamble selection and transmission are delayed by a random backoff time selected according to a uniform distribution between 0 and the calculated BPV.

Abstract: A method for a user equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system including a first base station (BS) and a second BS. The UE includes two medium access control (MAC) entities: one MAC entity for the first BS and one MAC entity for the second BS. The method includes mapping a first logical channel group (LCG) including one or more logical channels for transmitting first data to the first BS to the one MAC entity for the first BS and a second LCG including one or more logical channels for transmitting second data to the second BS to the one MAC entity for the second BS; based on the first data belonging to a logical channel in the first LCG having a higher priority than priorities of other logical channels in the first LCG for which data is already available for transmission, triggering, by the one MAC entity for the first BS, a first buffer status report to the first BS independently of logical channels of the second LCG; and based on the second data belonging to a logical channel in the second LCG having a higher priority than priorities of other logical channels in the second LCG for which data is already available for transmission, triggering, by the one MAC entity for the second BS, a second buffer status report to the second BS independently of logical channels of the first LCG.

Abstract: A method for performing a random access (RA) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises: selecting a uplink carrier for the RA procedure between a first uplink carrier for a serving cell and a second uplink carrier for the serving cell; and performing a first random access preamble (RAP) transmission for the RA procedure through the selected uplink carrier. Selecting the uplink carrier comprises: selecting the first uplink carrier when a downlink signal quality of the serving cell is less than a first threshold, and selecting one of the first and second uplink carriers randomly when the downlink signal quality of the serving cell is equal to or above the first threshold.

In particular, the reselection of the sidelink resources may be triggered when a value of sidelink resource reselection counter is zero. More specifically, the UE determines that data for the V2X communication is available in a sidelink traffic channel (STCH), determines that a value of the sidelink resource reselection counter is zero, and reselects the sidelink resources.
