    摘要: A color separation device according to the present invention comprises a first color separation member having a first polarization direction changing element and a second polarization direction changing element, and a first polarization separation element, and a second color separation member having a second polarization separation element. The first color separation member may be configured from a color separation function element and a polarization direction changing element. Linearly polarized light being made incident on the first color separation member at an angle of approximately 45 degrees so as to separate the light into reflected light and transmitted light, both lights having different colors and one of the different colors corresponding to one of three colors, and one of the lights being made incident on the second color separation member so as to separate the one of the lights into further reflected light and further transmitted light, both further reflected light and further transmitted light corresponding to the other two of the three colors, respectively.

    摘要: An illumination apparatus includes a reflector including a parabolic or ellipsoidal mirror, a light source arranged near a (first) focal point of the reflector, and a front mirror having a transparent window and a mirror surface symmetrical about the light axis. Luminous flux emitted from the light source is reflected from the reflector. In the case of the parabolic mirror, the front mirror has the same size as an entrance of an output light utilizing optical system, and the luminous flux exits toward the optical system as collimated light. In the case of the ellipsoidal mirror, the front mirror is arranged between two focal points of the ellipsoidal mirror, and the luminous flux is directed toward the second focal point. However, at least one part of the luminous flux is reflected from the front mirror and returned toward the first focal point.

    摘要: A DC motor has a stator that is constituted as a hybrid magnet. The stator has a plurality of electromagnets and permanent magnets that are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction of the stator. Fixed cores of the electromagnets have pole cores that have an approximately arched cross-sectional shape. When direct current is supplied to fixed coils, the pole cores are alternately magnetized to be N- and S-poles in the circumferential direction of the stator. The permanent magnets are anisotropic magnets. The inner surface of the permanent magnet includes a first portion that is arranged in one of both sides in the circumferential direction and magnetized to be an S-pole and a second portion that is arranged in the other of both sides in the circumferential direction and magnetized to be an N-pole. The first portion contacts the pole core that is magnetized to be an S-pole and the second portion contacts the pole core that is magnetized to be an N-pole. Accordingly, the DC motor, which achieves little leakage of magnetic flux and simple constitution, is obtained.
