    摘要: Converged charging systems and methods are described. A converged charging system includes an offline charging system, an online charging system, a common rating function, and a common charging gateway function. When in operation, the online charging system receives online charging information for a first call and accesses the common rating function to determine a rating for the first call. The online charging system then transmits a rated charging data record (CDR) for the first call to the common charging gateway function. The offline charging system receives offline charging information for a second call, and accesses the common rating function to determine a rating for the second call. The offline charging system transmits a rated CDR for the second call to the common charging gateway function. The common charging gateway function buffers the rated CDRs for both online and offline calls, and then transmits the rated CDRs to a billing system.

The rim unit modules of two adjacent macro modules are contrasting with each other to enhance identification of the respective macro module.

    摘要: Embodiments of the invention include a universal apparatus for incorporating intelligence into the distribution frame of an optical communication system. The communication system includes a distribution frame with one or more distribution shelves having one or more interconnection panels, and a universal operations, administration and maintenance (OA&M) apparatus attached to the distribution frame. The OA&M apparatus, which is operably connected to the interconnection panels and the distribution frame's system controller through an interface, monitors current interconnection panel connections including cross-connections and can indicate future possible cross-connections between interconnection panels. The OA&M apparatus also is useful for jumper routing, circuit administration, and other features associated with the distribution frame and its fiber connections.

    摘要: A baculovirus/insect cell expression system in which both .alpha. and .beta. subunit of human IL-5 receptor can be over-expressed together in Sf9 cells has been developed. This system is able to express the human high-affinity IL-5 receptors at a very high level and finds use in a screening assay for IL-5 receptor-based antagonists. A preferred embodiment of the screening assay involves the use of peanut agglutinin as lectin in a scintillation proximity assay.

    摘要: A telescopic sight for detachably connecting a night vision device includes a first external barrel, a regulation element, a first lens module and a transmission module. The first external barrel includes at least one opening, and an end of the first external barrel is configured for detachably connecting the night vision device. The regulation element is disposed on the first external barrel. The first lens module is located at an inner side of the first external barrel. The transmission module is connected between the regulation element and the first lens module via the at least one opening. When the regulation element is driven by an external force, the regulation element drives the transmission module move along an optical axis of the telescopic sight, such that the transmission module drives the first lens module moves along the optical axis to regulate focal length of the telescopic sight.
