摘要: In some instances, a method for verifying communication paths is provided. The method comprises: obtaining, from a first user device, a request to access content associated with a relying party system, wherein the request indicates user credentials and a first session identifier (ID); obtaining one or more quick response (QR) codes and a second session ID associated with a first QR code of the one or more QR codes, wherein the relying party system generates and provides the first QR code to the first user device; and verifying the first session ID and the second session ID, wherein the relying party system grants the first user device access to the requested content based on the verification.

摘要: A secure document includes a fluorescent barcode and a fluorescent filler printed onto a substrate. The fluorescent barcode is printed using a first fluorescent ink of a first color and the fluorescent filler is printed using a second fluorescent ink of a second color that is different than the first color. In order to read the fluorescent barcode, the secure document must be illuminated with ultraviolet and/or infrared light. Then, a color filter must be used to filter the fluorescent filler out, leaving the fluorescent barcode visible.

摘要: The present invention embodies a technique to embed a graphic representation and/or a concealed message such as but not limited to two dimensional codes such as quick response (QR) code matrices, fingerprints, coded fingerprint representations, iris imagery, iris coded representation, biometric hashes, palm print or portraits into a QR matrix code. In the case where biometric data such as finger print representation, iris coded representation or biometric hashes are encoded into the embedding, suitable binary representation of those patterns are generated before encoding. These concealed messages can be further encrypted using any cryptographic method such as public or private key or other suitable encrypting mechanisms adapted to the concealed message. For an implementation of the present invention in which a graphic representation is embedded into the code, the embedding process is based on an optimization method by which the color or luminance of the embedding is modified so as to minimize the visual distortion with respect to a reference image while maintaining the probability of decoding error of the standard and concealed code under a predetermined limit.

摘要: A system for verifying the authenticity of a printed mark includes an image acquisition device that acquires an image of a printed mark. In one implementation, the printed mark includes an identifier that identifies the group or class of an item to which the printed mark is to be (or has been) attached. The system may also include one or more processors that carry out actions such as receiving the image from the image acquisition device; analyzing the image to identify artifacts in the printed mark, retrieving a genuine mark signature from a data storage containing genuine mark signatures, comparing the identified artifacts with the genuine mark signature, and determining whether the unverified item is authentic based on the comparison.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a specific bar code and a forming method of the bar code, comprising: forming without a particular order on the printing stock: at least a one-dimensional bar code and color information and/or grayscale information in an area corresponding to the one-dimensional bar code, which are superimposed on the printing stock, respectively, wherein data information is generated by identifying the color information and the grayscale information; and if acquired by a portable electronic device having an image capture function, identifying the one-dimensional bar code and the color information and/or grayscale information, respectively, wherein a false positive ratio of identifying the one-dimensional bar code is less than 40%. By superimposing colorful background on the one-dimensional bar code, the present disclosure expands the coding capacity and implements one-code-for-one-article identification so as to bring additional values to vendors for applications such as traceability of one code for one article, while maintaining the features of one-dimensional bar code.

摘要: To encode information into a two-dimensional (2D) symbol, a palette is selected to represent data in the 2D symbol, the palette including a set of shape fillers. A Base number system is selected according to the palette. A rule is selected, where the rule determines a manner of reading an encoded form of the data from the 2D symbol. The rule and the data are encoded as a set of shapes, where the shapes in the set of shapes are configured using the palette and arranged into a grid pattern, with or without visible grid lines, to form the 2D symbol. The 2D symbol is output in a size that matches an area.
