摘要: System and method for detecting SMS parameters manipulation. A first SMS registry is coupled to a first Short Message Service Center (SMSC) and optionally to other SMS registries. The first SMSC is within a terminating telephone network. The first SMS registry receives first and second information about an SMS message that was sent from another telephone network or from an External Short Messaging Entity (ESME) and is destined to the first SMSC. The first and second information represent status of the SMS message respectively before and after the SMS message enters the terminating telephone network. The first SMS registry or a firewall automatically compares at least corresponding portions of the first and second information. As a result of the comparison, in response to detecting a difference between the at least portions of the first and second information, the first SMS registry automatically sends a signal indicating SMS parameter manipulation.

摘要: Methods and systems for reporting zero usage for immediate trigger types are discussed herein. According to an implementation a communication session is established between a user equipment (UE) and the 5G network to provide service/content requested by the UE. A session management function (SMF) may receives a message from the UE to report the usage of one or more data units granted to the UE. The message indicates that an event occurs during a zero-usage time period. The SMF determines whether the event triggers a charging condition. When the event triggers a charging condition that needs to be reported immediately, the SMF sends a charging data request to a charging function (CHF) to report the event, regardless the one or more data units have zero-usage.

摘要: Disclosed here is a method to determine a user intent when a user device initiates an interactive voice response (IVR) call with a wireless telecommunication network. A processor can detect the IVR call initiated with the network and determine whether the user device is a member of the network. Upon determining that the user device is a member of the network, the processor can obtain user history including interaction history between the user and the network. Based on the user history, the processor can predict the user intent when the user initiates the IVR call. The processor can detect whether user device is a 5G capable device. Upon the determining that the device is 5G capable and based on the predicted user intent, the processor can suggest to the user an application configured to execute on the user device and configured to address the predicted user intent.

摘要: Disclosed herein are techniques for telecommunication mediation platforms using a blockchain-based distributed microservice architecture. Upon generation, usage events are assigned a blockchain-based identification, which is used by subsequent mediation microservice processes to enable traceability of a given usage event from endpoint to endpoint in the mediation process. Separate, distributed microservices for file collection, file validation, record validation, record aggregation, and record distribution provide for flexible and finely grained scalability based on where demand surge occurs and what step of the mediation process is experiencing heightened demand. Incoming usage events are ultimately transformed into billing system compatible records corresponding to the appropriate billing accounts for the usage event.
