    Abstract: A method of detecting leakage within a chassis includes mounting the chassis on a plate disposed in a sealed chamber and fluidly connecting, by a pipe, an interior space of the sealed chamber to a water tank such that a bottom end of the pipe is under a surface of water in the water tank. The method further includes determining, such as observing, whether bubbles are formed at the bottom end of the pipe due to pressurized air flowing into the pipe. The method also includes determining presence of a leak in the chassis due to pressurized air flowing between the chassis and the sealed chamber, before flowing into the pipe.

    Abstract: A cover apparatus for controlling airflow in a computing system. The cover apparatus includes a cover bracket configured to attach to the computing system in alignment with an opening of a module within the computing system. The cover bracket defines an aperture through which one or more components can be inserted into and removed from the module. The cover apparatus includes a cover door attached to the cover bracket and configured to rotate relative to the cover bracket between an open position and a closed position. The cover door closes the first aperture of the cover bracket with the cover door in the closed position. The cover apparatus includes a catch configured to apply a force to the cover door in the closed position. The force is sufficient to maintain the cover door in the closed position but allows a user to manually open the cover door for accessing the module.

    Abstract: A cable-clamp system includes a clamp and a base structure located within an electronic chassis. The base structure includes an upper region, a first side region, and a second side region. The upper region includes a plurality of cable-receptor cavities for receiving the cables. The first side region includes an opening, and the second side region includes a slot. The clamp includes an engagement surface, a first end, and a second end. The first end includes a hook for insertion into the opening to allow pivoting movement of the clamp relative to the base structure. The second end includes a plunger for retention within the slot. When the clamp pivots downwardly to cause the engagement surface to engage the cables, the plunger is retained within the slot to maintain a clamping force on the cables between the base structure and the clamp.

    Abstract: An insertion tool for assisting in the insertion of an OCP 3.0 type expansion card in an expansion card slot of a computer system is disclosed. The expansion card may be a pull tab type form factor that does not have a mechanism such as an ejector latch to assist in applying force to insert the card. The expansion card has a front panel opposite a distal edge connector. The tool has a handle and a head coupled to the handle. The head has two contact areas that contact different areas of the front panel of the expansion card. For example, one of the contact areas may be an extended side arm and the other area may be a lateral rib extending from the head.

    Abstract: A partition for separating computer components in an apparatus holding the computer components is provided. The partition includes a body with a first side and a second side; one or more top tabs projecting from both the first side and the second side of the body; one or more bottom tabs projecting from the first side of the body; and one or more bottom protrusions projecting from the second side of the body. The one or more top tabs are secured in a first manner, e.g., through rivets, to a first panel of the apparatus. The one or more bottom tabs are secured in the first manner to a second panel of the apparatus. The one or more bottom protrusions are secured in a second manner to the second panel of the apparatus, e.g., tucking a protrusion under the second panel. The features allow different-sized compartments for different storage form factors.

    Abstract: A clip and base assembly includes at least one polymeric clip and a base. The clip includes first and second elastic arms, and a support arm. The clip forms an aperture therein. The first and second elastic arms move between first and second positions. The first and second elastic arms are located on opposing sides with the support arm in between. The base includes a first and second sets of notches, and an elongated slot. The first set of notches is sized and shaped to receive the first elastic arm. The second set of notches is sized and shaped to receive the second elastic arm. When the first and second elastic arms are in the second position, the clip is moveable in the elongated slot. When the first and second elastic arms are in the first position, the clip is fixed respect to the base.

    Abstract: A lifting structure in the form of a release hook configured to conveniently and easily release computer components from their supporting structure by a simple pivoting action in response to lifting of thumbscrews. A typical computer component would be a PCIe card within a GPU tray. The lifting structure does not require the use of tools to release the computer components, and can be used where computer components ordinarily cannot be released by human fingers due to limitations of space. The lifting structure lifts the computer component to a height where the computer component can then be easily grasped by human fingers for removal of the component.
