Abstract: A method performed by an access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication is provided. The method includes transmitting, to a policy control function (PCF), a policy create request message including first allowed network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI), receiving, from the PCF, a policy create response message including first session management function (SMF) selection management information, in a case that an establishment of a first protocol data unit (PDU) session is requested from a terminal, establishing the first PDU session based on the first SMF selection management information, in a case that the first NSSAI is changed, transmitting, to the PCF, a policy update request message including second allowed NSSAI based on the policy control request trigger, and receiving, from the PCF, a policy update response message including second SMF selection management information.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of transmitting/receiving a signal in a Mobile Management Entity (MME) of a mobile communication system, the method comprising: transmitting a subscriber information request message including information of a UE, to a Home Subscriber Server (HSS); receiving, from the HSS, a response message which corresponds to the request message and includes an indicator indicating whether it is possible to perform traffic offloading using a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) with regard to an Access Point Name (APN) connection or a Packet Data Network (PDN) connection of the UE; determining whether it is possible to perform the traffic offloading using the WLAN, on the basis of at least one of information included in the received response message and information configured in the MME; and; and transmitting, to the UE, a message including information on whether it is possible to perform the traffic offloading using the WLAN. A communication method according to an embodiment of the present specification can generate one or more PDN connections with regard to one APN when the UE accesses a PDN through the WLAN. Further, the communication method according to the present invention can effectively be subjected to a traffic offloading control by the eNB even when the UE is roaming.

The method of performing transmission/reception of signals in an evolved Node B (eNB) of a mobile communication system includes: receiving a first message including service request information from user equipment (UE); transmitting a second message including the service request information to an Mobility Management Entity (MME); receiving a third message including context information for the UE from the MME; and determining an inactivity timer value for the UE based on the context information. The method and apparatus can maintain, when a voice call is created, connection with calling UE from when the called UE answers the call until the call is set up, thereby preventing part of a caller's voice data from being lost.

The method and apparatus for controlling inter-plan handover to a CSG cell according to the present invention is characterized in that a control apparatus of a core network acquires the allowed CSG lists for determining a User Equipments (UEs) capability of access to a CSG cell and determines whether to permit inter-PLMN handover based on the allowed CSG lists.
