摘要： A coaxial cable connector system is provided. The system includes a coaxial cable connector, the connector having an internal physical parameter sensing circuit configured to sense a physical parameter of the connector and a status output component. The system further includes a data reader located externally to the connector. The reader includes a receiver element, a memory unit, a transmitter element, and a decision logic unit. The receiver element receives information about the connector, via the status output component, from the physical parameter sensing circuit. The memory unit stores predefined threshold limits of the physical parameter of the connector. The transmitter element is adapted to send the information over a network. The decision logic unit is adapted to compare the received information with the threshold limits and, if the received information exceeds the threshold limit, transmits the information over the network. The output display device is in electronic communication with the reader, configured to receive a data packet over the network. The data packet includes information that the physical parameter threshold has been exceeded.

The device includes a tunable low pass filter, a tunable high pass filter connected in series with the tunable low pass filter, and at least one voltage control unit. The voltage control unit is configured to adjust each of the tunable low pass filter and the tunable high pass filter between at least a first intermediate frequency range having a first width and a second intermediate frequency range having a second width. The first width differs in size from the second width.

Moreover, a post configured to receive a prepared end of a coaxial cable, a coupling member, axially rotatable with respect to the post, an outer sleeve engageable with the coupling member, the outer sleeve having a first end and a second end, wherein rotation of the outer sleeve rotates the coupling member, and a compression portion structurally integral with the outer sleeve, wherein the compression portion is configured to break apart from the outer sleeve when axially compressed is further provided. 摘要： A phone plug style audio jack connector device having an audio jack and a connector, the audio jack having a socket adapted to receive the tip end of the phone style audio plug. The device is movable between an unassembled position and an assembled position. When the device is in the unassembled position, a prepared coaxial cable end can be inserted into the rear end of the device. When a user moves the device into its assembled position, a fastener is driven to clamp around the cable in the radially inwards direction, thereby forming a connector/cable assembly. The electrical connections, or conduction paths, that run through the connector device are preferably coaxial, and connectors according to the present invention also provide good coaxial shielding within the connector device itself.
