摘要： A device for moving a wall frame unit into an erect and plumb position includes a pulling unit mounted on one wall frame unit and a pulled unit mounted on the wall frame unit to be erected. A cable unit connects the pulled unit to the puller unit via a lock handle on the puller unit. Movement of the puller unit handle into a prone position draws the cable unit towards the puller unit. A differential pulley block is included so that one worker can, without assistance, move the second wall frame unit.

摘要： An apparatus for temporarily suspending or supporting a fasica board during the installation thereof, along the eaves or the gable end of a frame of a roof is described, wherein the device includes a U-shaped frame for supporting or suspending the fascia board. The U-shaped frame is engagedly cooperating with a rectangular shaped frame for attachment to either a rafter or an outrigger, respectively, of the frame of the roof. The apparatus provides an improved method of installing a fascia board, wherein one person, can install the fascia board and upon completion installation thereof, the apparatus may be easily removed and applied to another section of the roof.

摘要： A dolly for maneuvering, lifting and transporting removable wall modules in the erection and disassembly of a modular wall system comprises an upwardly extending A-frame pivotally secured to a triangularly shaped wheeled base frame and having a vertically extendable grip arm with a lip at its end engageable in a groove in the module ceiling channel for moving the latter into and out of operative position against the ceiling; the lower edge of the A-frame has a horizontal lift member engageable in a longitudinal groove of the modular floor channel for lifting and supporting the module in cooperation with the grip arm. The A-frame is pivotally supported on the base frame about two axes so that the module when gripped by the grip arm end plate and the lift member may be lifted off the floor and tilted rearwardly to make an acute angle with the base frame for convenience and stability in transporting the module.

摘要： An alignment bracket used in combination with an extendible pole having a hooked end provides lateral and rotational alignment for the interengagement of precast concrete sections of underground concrete structures during their construction, eliminating the need for workmen to enter an excavation for this purpose. The bracket is moved by the pole after each section is positioned to provide alignment for the next section. During alignment the sections can be moved both rotationally and laterally by workmen applying force on the bracket with the pole.

摘要： Two abutting predecorated gypsum wallboards, being adhesively affixed to preformed sheet metal framing members, such as studs, are temporarily held firmly against a stud, which is disposed behind the joint between the two boards, by means including an elongate flat block disposed against the face of the board edges, a tie wire and a small arcuate wire guide, with the tie wire extending from one end, near the outer face of the block, to between the wallboard edges, through one hole in the stud, around the arcuate guide, back through another hole in the stud, out between the wallboard edges to the other end, also near the outer face of the block. The two wire ends are arranged to urge the block tightly against wallboard, when the two wire ends are twisted together. Removal of the wire and block involves cutting one leg of the wire, adjacent the block, and then pulling the wire out of the wall by pulling on the other wire leg.

摘要： The aligning or jack device is used for leveling or squaring a wooden wall section that is formed of floor and ceiling plates interconnected by studs and including a brace member loosely attached to diagonally opposite portions of the section. The device includes a pair of clamp assemblies, one for embracing the floor plate and the second one for embracing the brace member. The second clamp assembly is movably mounted on a handle or lever member that has one end pivoted on the first clamp assembly for pivoted movement about a horizontal axis. On actuation of the lever the studs and plates are relatively moved by the brace member to positions extended normal to each other, and are retained in such positions by rigidly securing the brace member to the wooden section.

摘要： For construction purposes, there is provided a novel method and apparatus for orienting and securing one panel to one or more panels of an array to comprise a wall, floor, ceiling or the like. The panel may be joined by contact adhesive along one longitudinal edge to the array or along two adjacent edges. In either event the apparatus insures fitting of the panel to the array prior to the application of adhesive, withdraws the panel from the array along a predetermined path to a predetermined location for application of the adhesive, then contacts the panel edges to the array to distribute adhesive along the edges to be bonded and removes the panel to the predetermined position until the adhesive reaches its optimum setting point. Then all points of the edges to be bonded are caused to contact simultaneously because the panel is moved along the predetermined path to its array position. One embodiment affixes panels in the vertical plane but brings them to the horizontal plane to facilitate the application of adhesive, and returns them for bonding without disturbing the final alignment. A modification of this embodiment enables tilting, angling, and skewing of the panel relative to a fixed floor or platform supporting the base of the machine to insure coplanar alignment of the panel to the array prior to bonding.
