摘要： A clamp for a spacer-damper includes a first jaw and a second jaw connected to the first jaw. The first jaw has a first clamping surface and a first aperture. The first aperture retains the fastener in an initial position and in a second position spaced latterly from said initial position. The second jaw has a second clamping surface and an open-ended second aperture. The second aperture receives the fastener in the second position. The first jaw may also include a keeper surface for receiving the fastener in an initial position, a keeper pocket for receiving the fastener in a second position and a keeper protrusion is positioned between the keeper surface and the keeper pocket.

摘要： Disclosed is a cable management device. The purpose of the present invention is to organize cords in an orderly manner, while providing convenient access to individual cables and preventing cables from entanglement. The device includes a plurality of housing members that are box-like in shape. In one embodiment, the housing members are color coded. The housing members each include a channel for receiving an electrical cord therein. Each channel extends through the length of the housing member so as to allow an electrical cord to be threaded therethrough. The cords are secured in the channel by way of a lid that is pivotally attached to the top of the housing member. The housing members are removably connected to each other via a connecting member that comprises a connecting member, thereby allowing a user to utilize as many housing members as necessary.

摘要： An improved method and apparatus is provided to secure a suture relative to body tissue. When a predetermined minimum force is being transmitted between a suture retainer and the body tissue, the suture is gripped with the suture retainer by plastically deforming material of the suture retainer. One or more bends may be formed in suture by the suture retainer to increase the holding action between the suture retainer and the suture. The bends in the suture may be formed by wrapping the suture around a portion of the suture retainer. During movement of the suture retainer toward the body tissue, the bends may be moved along the suture. One or more bends may be formed in the suture by bending a tubular member through which the suture extends. The tubular member may be maintained in a bent condition by a C-shaped holder member. Alternatively, the tubular member may be maintained in a bent condition by members which are latched together.

摘要： A stretchable, flexible cargo strap assembly comprises an elongated, stretchable first member having the properties of generating restoring force when stretched from a relaxed condition to a tensioned condition, and an elongated second member having a portion which coextends with at least a portion of the first member. The second member is secured to the first member by a plurality of securing members distributed at two or more longitudinally spaced locations along the coextending portions of the first and second members and intermediate the ends of said members, for substantially inhibiting or limiting relative longitudinal movement of the first and second members at these locations while providing for such movement between these locations. The second member is extendable, by stretching of the assembly, to an extended position in which the end-to-end distance of the second member is at least about 1.2 times the end-to-end distance which the second member exhibits when the assembly is in an unstretched condition, and develops a greater resistance to extension than said first member, but only after extension at least to this extended position.

摘要： A bending strain relief assembly which includes a plurality of helical band members cooperatively interdigitated to define a sleeve having a cylindrical passage therethrough for receiving a cable or hose. Each band member includes a plurality of individual helical elements encapsulated together in synthetic plastic material. Each band member also has an external grip groove on one end portion thereof for receiving a clamping flange on a clamping head. Cooperation between the clamping flange and grip grooves prevents radial separation of the band members at the one end portion thereof and prevents relative longitudinal movement between the band members and the clamping head. A holding device is positioned around the band members adjacent the other end portions for preventing radial separation thereof.

摘要： The present invention relates to hooks and eyes of the type which may be screwed on to the ends of helically wound curtain cords or into supporting surfaces. In accordance with the main feature of the invention there is provided such a hook or eye of which at least a straight shank portion is at least partly surrounded over at least part of its length by a shroud that is spaced from the said shank thereby to provide an annular gap therebetween. The shroud serves either to permit the leading end of a curtain cord to extend sealingly between the shroud and the shank or to space the hook or eye from a supporting surface into which it is screwed. The shank may be screw threaded or may be unthreaded and formed of material that will become self-threaded as screwed into a thread such as that of a helically wound curtain cord. In one embodiment of the invention the shroud is moulded as an integral part of the hook or eye thereby to form therewith a one-piece unit.
