    摘要: A core assembly for an injection molding-machine. The assembly includes a movable mold half and a stationary mold half clamped onto each their platen of an injection molding-machine. It also includes an actuator for advancing and retracting during operation at least one core into and from a mold cavity in a mold. The actuator is connected to a core-carrier for carrying the at least one core. The core-carrier is slidingly mounted to and partly projecting from a guidance connected to one of the mold halves. A first hole is formed in the closed mold for slidingly receiving the projecting part of the core-carrier. The core assembly allows products to be continuously molded with an extremely high degree of accuracy, and it is simple, inexpensive and easy to mount and maintain while also allowing for positioning of cores at various angles relative to the mold.

    摘要: An injection mold includes a mold base defined with a sliding slot, a mold core detachably mounted in the mold base, and a plurality of securing devices. The mold base includes an upper mold base and a lower mold base. The mold core includes an upper mold core and a lower mold core detachably connected with the upper mold core. The mold core defines a slider. The slider slides in the sliding slot of the mold base to move the mold core in or out of the mold base. The upper mold core defines a first securing groove, and the lower mold core defines a second securing groove. The securing devices are mounted in the upper mold base and the lower mold base. The securing devices secure the first and the second securing grooves, allowing the mold core to attach to the mold base.

The first tool element defines a negative of at least a portion of a first side of a flange, and the second tool element defines a negative of at least a portion of the second side of the flange. The method includes providing a set of blocks for insertion into a plurality of recesses in the second tool element, the set of blocks insertable in a plurality of configurations, each configuration defining a negative of a set of retention features on the second side of the flange. The plurality of configurations define differing configurations of retention features on the second side. The method also includes inserting at least some blocks into the second tool element to form a selected one of the plurality of configurations, and performing injection molding using the first tool element and the second tool element.

    摘要: Injection-molding processes and systems are described herein. An exemplary method involves: (a) holding one or more inserts in a desired position within a mold cavity by contacting a retractable core to at least a portion of each insert, wherein the retractable core is a feature of a mold plate; (b) while the one or more inserts are being held in the desired position by the retractable core, initiating an injection of molten plastic into the mold cavity; (c) retracting the retractable core from the one or more inserts while continuing the injection of molten plastic into the mold cavity, wherein retracting the retractable core creates additional cavity space within the mold cavity between the retractable core and the one or more inserts; and (d) continuing the injection of molten plastic into the mold cavity until the mold cavity, including the additional cavity space, is filled. The retractable core is preferably retracted at a point when molten plastic filling cavity space further from the retractable core has substantially cooled and hardened, while molten plastic filling cavity space in close proximity to the retractable core remains substantially heated.

A positioning block defining an aligning hole is positioned in the through hole, the aligning hole is used to clamp the blind hole forming portion of the core pin to make the blind hole forming portion align with the lens forming portion during the injection molding process. The present art also relate to a method for adjusting the mold.

The stationary plate defines an upper surface and a side surface perpendicular to the upper surface. The upper surface has a slot at a middle portion thereof. The slot extends perpendicular to the side surface and reaches the side surface. The first core is received in the slot of the stationary plate and defines a holding element on a top surface thereof for securing an insert. The second core is closed with the first core to form a mold cavity, with the insert extending into the mold cavity. The first core is capable of being taken off from the slot of the stationary plate when the first core and the second core are detached from each other.
