Abstract: According to one embodiment, an alignment processing device includes a light source, a polarizing beam splitter, a first optical system, a second optical system, a first retardation film, a second retardation film, a moving mechanism configured to move a processing substrate in which a thin film is formed, and a controller. Interfering light is formed in an exposure area by first circularly polarized light and second circularly polarized light. The controller performs control so as to repeat a process of exposing part of an area of the thin film by the interfering light and a process of moving the processing substrate.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel having a display surface having a display region where an image is displayed and an opposite surface on an opposite side of the display surface, a color separation element placed on the opposite surface side of the display panel and configured to disperse light from a light source and to emit, to the display panel, a plurality of rays of separated light with wavelengths different from each other, and an adhesive portion bonding the display panel to the color separation element. The adhesive portion forms a space portion overlapping the display region in plan view of the display surface and also has a plurality of side walls forming a communicating passage through which the space portion communicates with an atmosphere, and the communicating passage has a labyrinth structure.
