Abstract: An electrochromic device includes: two electrodes with an electrochromic material therebetween; switching elements, a source or a drain of each of which is coupled to one of the two electrodes; scanning lines coupled to gates of the switching elements; transmission lines coupled to the other one of the source and the drain of each switching element; and first switches capable of individually switching coupling between a first wiring and each transmission line. A first period and a second period are alternately provided. In the first period, reset potentials of the transmission lines are given at either a first timing before a signal to be transmitted to the gates is given to the scanning lines or a second timing after the signal is given to the scanning lines. In the second period, the signal potential is given to the transmission lines at the other timing of the first and second timings.

Abstract: A second substrate has detection electrodes of a touch panel, each of pixels has a pixel electrode and a counter electrode, the counter electrode is divided into a plurality of blocks, the counter electrodes of the respective divided blocks are commonly provided for the respective pixels of the plurality of display lines in series, and the counter electrodes also serve as scanning electrodes of the touch panel, and a counter electrode selector circuit that selects the counter electrodes. The counter electrode selector circuit includes an address decoder circuit that selects the counter electrodes of the respective blocks for a given period, and a selector circuit that applies a touch panel scanning voltage to the counter electrode of the block selected by the address decoder circuit, and applies a counter voltage to the counter electrodes of the blocks not selected by the address decoder circuit.

Abstract: A parallax barrier panel including a first substrate having a flat electrode, and a second substrate, the liquid crystal sandwiched therebetween. The second substrate has first barrier electrodes extending in a first direction and arrayed at a first pitch in a second direction, and has second barrier electrodes, the first and the second harrier electrodes having an interlayer insulating film interposed therebetween.
