    Abstract: A laser light adjusting method includes detecting a pair of mode hops and a comparison saturated absorption line group of the pair of mode hops based on an intensity of a light output signal in response to a change applied to an actuator, comparing a mode center voltage value with a comparison voltage value which is the voltage value at which the comparison saturated absorption line group was generated; a control temperature adjustment process that increases a control temperature when the comparison voltage value is lower than the mode center voltage value, and that decreases the control temperature of the temperature adjuster when the comparison voltage value is greater than the mode center voltage value; and a laser light stabilization step that stabilizes an emission frequency of the laser light to a specific saturated absorption line after the control temperature adjustment process.

    Abstract: An orthogonal state measuring device includes a measurement table and a CCD camera displacing in X, Y, and Z directions relative to the measurement table and measuring a work piece placed on the measurement table. The orthogonal state measuring device further includes a wide angle surveillance camera, a computer main body, and a display. The wide angle surveillance camera captures in one pass an image that is capable of configuring a bird's-eye image of the work piece, the bird's-eye image encompassing an entire field over which the CCD camera is capable of relative displacement. The computer main body generates the bird's-eye image based on the image and defines a position of the CCD camera on the bird's-eye image, then configures navigation maps in which the position of the CCD camera is composited on the bird's-eye image. The display displays the navigation maps.

    Abstract: A compact coordinate measuring machine (CMM) probe configuration is provided for integrating complex circuits into a CMM probe. The CMM probe configuration includes a stylus position detection portion, a stylus suspension portion and a circuit board assembly. The stylus position detection portion includes an alignment frame and an optical sensing configuration. The circuit board assembly includes a rigid-flex circuit element and a three-dimensional carrier frame. The rigid-flex circuit element includes a set of board portions joined by a set of flexible bend portions. The rigid-flex circuit element is folded at the bend portions to locate some of the board portions to be proximate to and/or joined to corresponding support surfaces on the carrier frame.
