    摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are disclosed for facilitating decoding a communication received from a wireless terminal. Encoded bits are received from the wireless terminal via a shared uplink channel, and a plurality of acknowledgment tones are identified within the encoded bits. A correlation value is ascertained corresponding to a correlation between detected bits within the plurality of acknowledgment tones and valid bits corresponding to any of a plurality of valid acknowledgment codewords. A determination is then made as to whether the plurality of acknowledgment tones includes information corresponding to a discontinuous transmission by comparing the correlation value to a threshold value.

    摘要: The concept-structured image search technique described herein pertains to a technique for enabling a user to indicate their semantic intention and then retrieve and rank images from a database or other image set according to this intention. The concept-structured image search technique described herein includes a new interface for image search. With this interface, a user can freely type several key textual words in arbitrary positions on a blank image, and also describe a region for each keyword that indicates its influence scope, which is called concept structure herein. The concept-structured image search technique will return and rank images that are in accordance with the concept structure indicated by the user. One embodiment of the technique can be used to create a synthesized image without actually using the synthesized image to perform a search of an image set.

    摘要: Techniques for sending control information in a wireless communication system are described. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may send data for control information in a resource block with frequency division multiplexing (FDM) and may send pilot in the resource block with frequency-domain code division multiplexing (CDM). The UE may determine multiple groups of subcarriers to use to send data in multiple symbol periods of the resource block based on a predetermined pattern or a pseudo-random hopping pattern. Each group may include consecutive subcarriers to support localized FDM. The multiple groups may include different subcarriers to provide frequency diversity and possibly interference averaging. The UE may send modulation symbols for data (e.g., in the time domain) on the multiple groups of subcarriers in the multiple symbol periods. The UE may send a reference signal sequence for pilot on multiple subcarriers in each symbol period for pilot.

The opening may be a slot opening that is used to accommodate optical disks or other storage media. Radio-frequency signals for the antenna may pass through the opening.

    摘要: In an aspect, a method assists with blind decoding of uplink control signals on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) and Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH). The method assists in determining the uplink control path in the event a user equipment (UE) misses an uplink grant and blind decoding occurs. It is determined whether an uplink acknowledgement, rank indicator, and/or channel quality indicator are found on a PUSCH. If not, it is determined whether a scheduling request is expected and whether special handling for the scheduling request is indicated. Depending on those determinations, and whether any decoding attempts for uplink signals are successful, either the PUSCH or PUCCH is selected as the uplink control path.
