Abstract: The present application discloses a method for feeding back channel state information (CSI), comprising: acquiring first and second CSI based on a first and a second CSI measurement resource respectively, obtaining a channel quality indicator (CQI) based on the first CSI and the second CSI, wherein the first CSI comprises a first and a second type of precoding matrix indicator (PMI1 and PMI2) and a first rank indicator (RI1), and the second CSI comprises a first and a second type of PMI (PMI3 and PMI4) and a second RI (RI2); and feeding back third CSI to a base station, wherein the third CSI comprises third PMI information, third RI information, and the CQI, wherein the third PMI information is obtained based on at least three of the PMI1, the PMI2, the PMI3, and the PMI4, and the third RI information is obtained based on the RI1 and the RI2.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for transmitting a pilot signal, a base station, and user equipment The method including: determining, by a base station, a transmission period of a pilot antenna port group; and sending, by the base station, in a transmission period corresponding to each pilot antenna port group, a pilot signal to user equipment by using a resource corresponding to the pilot antenna port group, so that the user equipment measures channel quality according to the pilot signal. By means of the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention, pilot signal overheads can be reduced.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for feeding back a channel quality indicator, and a method and an apparatus for sending resource scheduling information. An apparatus for feeding back a channel quality indicator includes: a determining module, configured to determine a feedback granularity of a CQI according to a system bandwidth, a CQI feedback mode, and antenna port quantity information specified by a network device; and a feedback module, configured to feed back the CQI to the network device according to the feedback granularity of the CQI. The method for feeding back a channel quality indicator, and the method and the apparatus for sending resource scheduling information provided in the embodiments of the present invention are used to reduce system overheads.
