Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first scanning line, a second scanning line, a signal line, a capacitance line, and a pixel. The pixel includes a pixel electrode, an auxiliary electrode, a first switch, a second switch, and a third switch. The first switch is electrically connected to the signal line, the pixel electrode, and the first scanning line. The second switch is electrically connected to the auxiliary electrode, the first scanning line, and the capacitance line. The third switch is electrically connected to the signal line, the second scanning line, and the auxiliary electrode.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate includes a first area including a display area, a second area adjacent to the first area, and an organic insulating layer formed over the first area and the second area. The second substrate includes a substrate end located in a border between the first area and the second area, and overlaps the first area. The organic insulating layer includes a first groove portion surrounding the display area and formed in a circular shape along an outline of the first substrate. The first groove portion includes a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The first and second sidewalls intersect the substrate end in a plan view.

Abstract: According to an aspect, an array substrate includes: a substrate; a light-shielding layer; a first gate electrode; a semiconductor layer; a signal line; and an electrode. A first surface of the substrate is provided with, in sequence, the light-shielding layer, the first gate electrode, the semiconductor layer, the signal line, and the electrode. The semiconductor layer includes a first impurity region electrically coupled to the electrode, a first channel region overlapping the first gate electrode, a second impurity region opposite to the first impurity region with respect to the first channel region, and a first lightly doped drain region between the first impurity region and the first channel region. The light-shielding layer has a first end and a second end opposite to each other. The first end overlaps the first channel region. The light-shielding layer overlaps a boundary between the first channel region and the first lightly doped drain region.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a display device includes: a substrate; a display region; a peripheral region; signal lines; terminals; wires coupling the terminals and the signal lines in the peripheral region; and first and second metal layers in different layers perpendicularly to the substrate and an insulating film in the peripheral region. The peripheral region includes: a first wiring region, in which the wires are electrically coupled to the signal lines; a second wiring region between the first wiring region and the terminals, and in which at least one or more wires pass through the first and second metal layers; and a third wiring region between the first and second wiring regions, and in which the wires extend in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The third wiring region includes contacts coupling the first and second metal layers, and a virtual line connecting the contacts has a curved shape.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device is provided and includes a liquid crystal element array having pixel electrodes and switching elements arranged in a matrix form; scanning lines arranged in each row of the liquid crystal element array and supply a scanning signal to switching elements; signal lines arranged in each column of the liquid crystal element array and supply an image signal to the pixel electrodes through switching elements; touch electrodes overlapping pixel electrodes and arranged in the column of the liquid crystal element array; signal line drive circuit arranged along one side of the liquid crystal element array parallel to the row of the liquid crystal element array and forms the image signal; first circuit arranged along the other side of the liquid crystal element array parallel to the row of the liquid crystal element array and is connected to the touch electrodes; and second circuit arranged along the one side of the liquid crystal element array and is connected to the touch electrodes, wherein a touch signal is supplied from the second circuit on the one side of the liquid crystal element array and the touch signal is supplied from the first circuit on the other side of the liquid crystal element array.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device comprises image signal lines, scanning signal lines, pixels, a display area, pixel electrodes, and common electrodes. The common electrodes are configured to detect an object and to display an image in the display area. The common electrodes include first and second common electrodes which are arranged in a first direction. A first slit is provided between the first and second common electrodes. The first and second common electrodes are supplied a signal different from each other. A second slit is provided in the first common electrode. Each of the first slit and the second slit overlaps one of the image signal lines and extends in an extension direction in which the image signal line extends.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display unit including electrodes, a touch sensor configured to supply drive signals to the electrodes and receive signals from the electrodes, and a switch circuit group including transistors connected between the touch sensor and the electrodes. The transistors include a first transistor connected to a first electrode via a line of a first length and a second transistor connected to a second electrode via a line of a second length longer than the first length. The channel width of the first transistor is smaller than a channel width of the second transistor.
