    Abstract: One aspect of the present invention relates to a method for setting, by an SCEF, and NIDD configuration in a wireless communication system, the method including: a step for receiving, from a network node, a first SCEF connection setup request for non-IP data transmission by a terminal, the first SCEF connection setup request including an external identifier of the terminal and a SCS/AS identifier of an SEC/AS for servicing the terminal; a step of determining whether the NIDD configuration with SCS/AS is established; a step for transmitting, to the SCS/AS, a second SCEF connection setup request for establishing the NIDD configuration, when the NIDD configuration is not established, the second SCEF connection setup request including the external identifier of the terminal; and a step for setting the NIDD configuration for the SCS/AS and the terminal.

    Abstract: When the amount of downlink (DL) data for a user equipment (UE), buffered by a network, exceeds a predetermined reference value, the network establishes a user plane connection with the UE by changing a connection mode with the UE. Even when a control plane connection that can be used for user data transmission exists and access to the UE is possible, the network does not transmit the DL data to the UE on the control plane connection, but transfers the DL data to the UE after the user plane connection is established.

    Abstract: The present specification provides a method by which user equipment (UE) is connected to a base station. The method comprises the steps of: receiving broadcasted information from the base station, wherein the broadcasted information includes information of network slices connected to the base station and capability information of the base station; determining a type indicating a service to be provided or a kind of operation on the basis of the information on the network slices and capability information on the base station; transmitting, to the base station, a connection request message including information on the determined type; and receiving a connection accept message for a first network slice among the network slices connected to the base station. The first network slice can be selected by the base station on the basis of the information on the type.

    Abstract: According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided an interworking method between networks of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, including: performing a first interworking procedure for changing a network of the UE from a 5-generation core network (5GC) network to an evolved packet core (EPC) network, wherein, when an interface between the 5GC and the EPC networks does not exist, the performing of the first interworking procedure includes: receiving a first indication from an access and mobility management function (AMF) of the 5GC network; and performing a handover attach procedure in the EPC network based on the first indication.
