    摘要: A light source apparatus (8) includes a rear plate (80), a front plate formed with an anode layer (82), and a cathode (81) interposed therebetween. The cathode includes a plurality of electrically conductive carriers (812) and a plurality of field emitters (816) formed thereon. The field emitters are uniformly distributed on anode-facing surfaces of the conductive carriers. Preferably, the field emitters extend radially outwardly from the corresponding conductive carriers. The conductive carriers are parallel with each other, and are located substantially on a common plane. Each of the conductive carriers can be connected with a pulling device arranged at least one end thereof, and an example of the pulling device is a spring. The conductive carriers may be cylindrical, prism-shaped or polyhedral.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing isotope-doped carbon nanotubes (10) includes the steps of: (a) providing a carbon rod (209) connected with an anode (214) of an electrical source, the carbon rod including at least two kinds of carbon isotope segments (202, 203) arranged therealong according to need; (b) providing a pure carbon rod (208) connected with a cathode (215) of the electrical source, the pure carbon rod positioned corresponding to the carbon rod and including carbon-12 isotopes; and (c) producing an arc discharge between the carbon rod and the pure carbon rod, wherein the carbon isotope segments of the carbon rod are consumed sequentially to form the isotope-doped carbon nanotubes on a surface of the pure carbon rod. Growth mechanisms of the isotope-doped carbon nanotubes manufactured by this method can be readily studied.

Secondly, forming carbon nanotube structure on the surface of the base to obtain a first electrode plate preform, the carbon nanotubes of each carbon nanotube structure being oriented along the extending direction thereof. Thirdly, forming a fixing layer to cover the carbon nanotube structure, thereby obtaining a first electrode plate. Fourthly, repeating the above-described steps, thereby obtaining a second electrode plate. Lastly, forming a liquid crystal layer between the fixing layers of the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, the carbon nanotubes of the first electrode plate being perpendicular to that of the second electrode plate, thereby forming the liquid crystal display screen.
