Visual tracking of multiple objects in a crowded scene is critical for many applications include surveillance, video conference and human computer interaction. Complex interactions between objects result in partial or significant occlusions, making tracking a highly challenging problem. Presented is a novel efficient approach to tracking a varying number of objects through occlusion. The object tracking during occlusion is posed as a track-based segmentation problem in the joint-object space. Appearance models are used to interpret the foreground into multiple layer probabilistic masks in a Bayesian framework. The search for optimal segmentation solution is achieved by a greedy searching algorithm and integral image for real-time computing. Promising results on several challenging video surveillance sequences have been demonstrated.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a communication access apparatus, the communication access apparatus includes a wired service processing unit, for processing wired services; a wireless service processing unit, for processing wireless services; and a converging and controlling unit connected to both the wired service processing unit and the wireless service processing unit, for converging service data from the wired service processing unit and the wireless service processing unit, respectively, and performing communication controls to the wired service processing unit and the wireless service processing unit. It can be seen that the communication access apparatus in accordance with the embodiments of the present invention supports both wired services and wireless services, which is favorable for the service extension of operators and improves the flexibility of providing services by operators greatly and the satisfaction of users.

Each span of a communication network, such as a BLSR ring, is assigned a unique span ID. When a node of the network detects a failure in a span (including a straddling span) of the network, the node exchanges commands, according to an automatic protection switching (APS) protocol, that request other nodes of the network to switch network traffic from a working span (including a straddling span) to a protect span. The commands specify the working span by its span ID, without necessarily specifying a source node ID or a destination node ID for the commands. The span ID occupies fewer bits in the commands than a combination of the source node ID and the destination node ID. Consequently, the messages can accommodate span IDs larger than four bits, and networks can have more than 16 nodes. Alternatively, the commands specify a destination node ID without a span ID or a source node ID, or the commands specify a source node ID without a span ID or a destination node ID. Alternatively, a straddling span is identified by node IDs of its two nonadjacent terminal nodes. A set of rules governs straddling span switching. Optionally or in addition, more than four bits are available for bridge requests command codes in the messages. Thus, more than 16 unique bridge requests commands can be defined.

The explicit rate marking system comprises a virtual bandwidth value generator module and an explicit rate value generator module. The virtual bandwidth value generator module generate a virtual bandwidth value reflecting an available bandwidth capacity value, an explicit rate value associated with each bottlenecked virtual circuit for which the switching node forms part of a path, and a minimum cell rate value associated with each unbottlenecked virtual circuit for which the switching node forms part of a path. The explicit rate value generator module generates the explicit rate value in relation to the virtual bandwidth value and the minimum cell rate value associated with the virtual circuit and other virtual circuits for which the switching node forms part of a path.

The invention proposes a method, in a carrier aggregation transmission-based radio communication network, of controlling uplink transmission of a user equipment over a plurality of secondary cells in a group of secondary cells, the user equipment being configured with a group of primary cells and at least one group of secondary cells, and the group of secondary cells belonging to the at least one group of secondary cells, wherein in the event that the group of primary cells and the at least one group of secondary cells each is configured with a time alignment timer, the method comprises the steps of: terminating the uplink transmission of the user equipment over at least one activated secondary cell in the group of secondary cells when the time alignment timer of the group of primary cells expires; in the event that the group of primary cells and the at least one group of secondary cells are configured with a common time alignment timer, the method comprises the steps of: determining whether a time alignment value of the group of secondary cells is valid when the time alignment timer is in operation; and if not, terminating the uplink transmission of the user equipment over the at least one activated secondary cell in the group of secondary cells and transmitting a notification message to a base station.

The present invention discloses formulation of a serum-free medium used for human pluripotent stem cells, which comprises the following raw materials: inorganic salt components, organic components, amino acids and amino acid salts, energy substances and metabolic intermediates, vitamins and antioxidants, proteins and polypeptides, trace elements and chromogenic substances; while the culture process comprises the following steps: selecting a basic formulation, performing combination screening, identifying and evaluating results, and testing a new formulation of culture; and proportioning according to the following methods: adding aforesaid raw materials into 950 ml of water for injection, stirring gently until dissolved, and finally adding 2.438 g of sodium bicarbonate, and stirring gently until dissolved, and then adding 1 liter of water for injection, adjusting the pH to the desired value with 1 mol/L sodium hydroxide solution or 1 mol/L hydrochloric acid solution, finally filtering sterilized with 0.1 μm diameter filter under positive pressure, and storing the medium solution in dark place at 2° C.-8° C., the invention solves the problem of high cost of domestic import of serum-free formulation.
