摘要: A switching node for use in connection with a computer network includes an input interface, a buffer and a control element. The input interface receives cells from at least one input communication link. The buffer buffers selected cells prior to transmission over at least one output communication link. The control element selectively enables cells received by said input interface to be buffered in said buffer. The control element discards cells if the cell occupancy of the buffer exceeds a predetermined threshold level and a credits value indicates that the switching node has loaded a number of cells into the buffer for transmission which exceeds a cell loss ratio guarantee provided by the switching node.

摘要: A method of transmitting a message between user equipment and network equipment, user equipment and network equipment are disclosed. The method of transmitting a message between user equipment and network equipment in which the message comprises a message header and a message payload, the message header having a plurality of fields, comprises the steps of: setting an indicator field in the message header to indicate that a report providing scheduling information is included in the message payload; setting a secondary indicator field in the message header to indicate that, for at least some values of the secondary indicator field, an alternative report having alternative scheduling information is included in the message payload; and transmitting the message header and message payload. This enables alternative reports to be transmitted from the user equipment without reducing the number of allocatable logical channels or MAC CE types.

摘要: The invention proposes a method and an apparatus for transmitting a buffer status report in a wireless network, where a user equipment is configured with a plurality of component carriers, the user equipment obtains an amount of data to be transmitted after respective media access layer protocol data units corresponding to the respective component carriers are generated, generates the uplink buffer status report message according to the amount of data to be transmitted, and reports the uplink buffer status report message to a base station serving the user equipment. The invention address the problem of how to report buffer status information when there are a plurality of media access layer protocol data units in a transport time interval. With the solution of the invention, the base station can definitively know how many uplink resources can be allocated for the user equipment to guarantee more efficient scheduling.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a spin-torque oscillator includes a non-magnetic unit, one or more first magnetic unit, and a second magnetic unit. The non-magnetic unit is formed of a non-magnetic body. The one or more first magnetic unit is connected to the non-magnetic unit and generates a pure spin current indicating the flow of the electron spin that does not accompany an electric charge current. The second magnetic unit is connected to the non-magnetic unit in a manner such that a distance between the second magnetic unit and the first magnetic unit is shorter than a spin diffusion length indicating a distance that an electronic spin polarization is maintained in the non-magnetic unit. The second magnetic unit oscillates by the pure spin current.
