    Abstract: Disclosed are a power control method, a first communication node and a second communication node. The power control method includes: configuring, by a first communication node, an association between a power control parameter and reference signal information; and configuring or indicating, by the first communication node, a reference signal of a transmission for a second communication node, so that the second communication node determines a power control parameter of the transmission according to the reference signal of the transmission and the association.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices related to related to a two-stage transmission of downlink control messages for reducing signaling overhead are described. In one representative aspect, a method for wireless communication includes receiving, at a mobile device, a message from a wireless communication node. The message includes a first portion of a scheduling indication for scheduling a transmission. The method also includes determining, by the mobile device, a second portion of the scheduling indication based on one or more predetermined rules; determining, by the mobile device, the scheduling indication based on the first portion of the scheduling indication included in the message and the second portion of the scheduling indication; and performing, by the mobile device, the transmission based on the scheduling indication.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a reference signal sequence for performing channel estimation. In one embodiment, the method includes: determining an initialization value; limiting the initialization value to be less than a predetermined positive integer M to provide a limited initialization value; mapping the limited initialization value into an initialization sequence having a predetermined number L of sequence values; providing the initialization sequence to a pseudo-random number generator to generate a pseudo-random number sequence; and generating the RS sequence based on the PRNS.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices related to reducing signaling overhead for coherent uplink transmissions using many antenna ports. In one representative aspect, a method for wireless communication is described. The method includes transmitting, from a mobile device that comprises eight antenna ports, a message to a wireless communication node, the message including at least a first field indicating a first capability of the mobile device for performing a one-layer transmission using two antenna ports corresponding to a first port set selected from two or more port sets, and a second field indicating a second capability of the mobile device for performing a one-layer transmission using four antenna ports corresponding a second port set selected from the two or more port sets.
