Abstract:
Leakage of information from a high-quality copy created by reading out data from a storage device is inhibited. A printing apparatus (110) and a multi-function peripheral (120) which is connected to a network (130) store images each corresponding to an identification information. These apparatuses extract an identification information from a document for which a unique identification information is formed, and search a storage device for an image containing an identification information which coincides with the unique identification information. The apparatuses acquire the found image, form copy-forgery-inhibited-pattern image information on the image, and print.
Abstract:
In a photographing apparatus, image data obtained when an instruction for capturing a still image is issued during capturing of a moving picture is saved in a first recording medium, and a still image is generated based on the image data saved in the first recording medium and is recorded on a second recording medium different from the first recording medium when the capturing of the moving picture has been completed. The photographing apparatus includes a display control unit configured to display, during the capturing of the moving picture, a first icon indicating the second recording medium as a still-image recording destination and an indicator indicating the number of still images for which image data can be saved in the first recording medium, and to display an indicator indicating that the still image is recorded on the second recording medium when the capturing of the moving picture has been completed.
Abstract:
An external storage device is connected to an image pickup apparatus provided with a first image storage medium capable of storing plural taken images and image display means, and adapted for backup of image information stored in the first image storage medium. The device includes a second image storage medium, a connection detecting unit, a reception unit, a transfer means, a conversion unit, and a second transfer unit. The transfer unit writes predetermined taken image information read from the first image storage medium into the second image storage medium and erases the predetermined taken image information from the first image storage medium according to a detection output of the connection detecting unit and an output of the reception unit. The conversion unit converts the predetermined taken image information into an image matching a display ability of the image display means. The second transfer unit writes the converted image information in the first image storage medium.
Abstract:
An image capturing apparatus is disclosed. An image capturing section captures an image of light and obtains image data. An image display section displays the image data obtained by the image capturing section with a predetermined number of pixels. A storage section stores the image data obtained by the image capturing section. An interface section is connectable to an external storage device. A control section causes the image data obtained by the image capturing section to be stored to the external storage device connected through the interface section, when the captured image data are stored to the external storage device, the image data whose number of pixel exceeds the predetermined number of pixels to be converted into image data having the predetermined number of pixels, and the converted image data to be stored to the storage section.
Abstract:
A recording control apparatus includes an attribute information reader, a medium determining unit, and a command transmitter. When a recording medium is removably loaded into a loading unit, the attribute information reader reads attribute information therefrom. On the basis of the attribute information, the medium determining unit determines whether or not the recording medium is a one-time recording medium capable of writing data once. If the recording medium is determined to be a one-time recording medium that has been set to a write-protected state in advance, the command transmitter transmits to the recording medium an unlock command for unlocking the write-protected state thereof.

Abstract:
A digital camera having a camera body includes a small memory card receiving member, a large memory card receiving member having a width larger than the width of the small memory card receiving member, and a forward projecting portion having a inclined portion which gradually protrudes in a forward direction toward a bottom portion of the camera body, the forward projecting portion being located below a lens barrel of the digital camera. The small and large memory card receiving members are provided within the forward projecting portion in the camera body, the small memory card receiving member being located above the large memory card receiving member and located within the inclined portion in the camera body. A front end of the small memory card receiving member is located at a position more rearward than a front end of the large memory card receiving member.
Abstract:
In a recording apparatus that is capable of recording information on a plurality of recording media, i.e., first and second memory cards, the information is recorded on the first and second memory cards simultaneously, the information that has been recorded only on one of the memory cards is left and the information recorded on the other is deleted in dependence upon the available capacities of the memory cards at the end of recording. Performing recording in this manner makes it possible to store continuous data collectively on a single recording medium to the greatest extent possible.
Abstract:
An imaging apparatus, such as a video camera, is arranged to record a first image signal and a second image signal on a first recording medium and a second recording medium, respectively. While recording on the first recording medium the first image signal subjected to a process corresponding to a first special effect, the imaging apparatus records on the second recording medium the second image signal subjected to a process corresponding to a second special effect different from the first special effect.
Abstract:
An image photographing apparatus has a first image photographing device unit and a second image photographing device unit. The image photographing apparatus also has a function of a camcorder provided by the first image photographing device unit, and a function of a digital camera provided by the second image photographing device unit, and wherein a portion of the first and second image photographing device units is protruded at a front of the main body of the apparatus. A fixed or popup flash can be further provided and is mounted to an upper side or a flank side of the main body to avoid the shading of the light by the first image photographing device unit.
