摘要： A wet collection apparatus is provided for collecting dry coating material exhaust from food-product coating apparatus for dusting or coating food product pieces (eg., chicken tenders) in automatic and/or mechanized food-process lines. There is a water vessel with a bottom wall, surrounding sidewalls, an open top, a removable closure for the open top, an exhaust blower mounted on or pneumatically-coupled to the vessel or closure, and a vacuum line extending between and pneumatically-coupled to both the food-product coating apparatus and one of the vessel or closure. The water vessel being characterized by a generally hollow interior defining a process chamber. Then there are a plurality of channel-dividing partitions mounted in the hollow interior of the water vessel forcing the flow of exhaust air through the process chamber to submerge and re-emerge into and out of the pool of water in a chutes and ladder fashion.

摘要： A flavouring dispenser for dispensing doses of flavouring is disclosed. The flavouring dispenser comprises a flavouring chamber for containing flavouring; a dosing member having a dosing volume for receiving flavouring from the flavouring chamber, the dosing member defining an opening to the dosing volume through which flavouring is received from the flavouring chamber. A reciprocating member is movable relative to the dosing member between a closed position, at which the opening is isolated from the flavouring chamber by the reciprocating member, to a first open position, at which the opening is partially exposed to the flavouring chamber such that an amount of flavouring may enter into the dosing volume via the opening, and back to the closed position, such that the flavouring may be dispensed by the dosing member. The first open position of the reciprocating member is adjustable such that degree to which the opening is exposed to the flavouring chamber may be changed so as to adjust the amount of flavouring received in the dosing volume.

摘要： A granular coating conveyor system for coating granular particles carried in compartments along a tubular conveyor member. Coating fluid is fed over the granular particles through radial nozzles located inside a co-axial rotating blender with tubular member upstream discharge port and tubular member downstream return ingress port for the granular particles. The blender is a drum having a helicoidal spiral screw integrally mounted to an interior peripheral wall face of the drum and extending therealong radially outwardly of the tubular member mixing in the drum in tumbling fashion the granular particles with coating fluid and guiding same therealong, so as to dynamically form a kidney shape mass of granular particles.
