A computer-implemented method for establishing a communications link between a source and a target comprises: a) receiving, at a server, data identifying the source and the target; b) for each of the source and the target, retrieving a respective communication profile identifying one or more communications systems by which the respective one of the source or target may be communicated with; c) comparing the profiles to identify one or more common communications systems; and d) opening a communications link between the source and the target using one or more of the common communication systems.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are described for scoring consumers' credit risk by determining consumers' income risk and future ability to pay. Methods are provided for measuring consumers' income risk by analyzing consumers' income loss risk, income reduction risk, probability of continuance of income, and economy's impact on consumers' income. In one embodiment, a method is provided to evaluate an individual's creditworthiness using income risk based credit score thereby providing creditors, lenders, marketers, and companies with deeper, new insights into consumer's credit risk and repayment potential. By predicting consumers' income risk and the associated creditworthiness the present invention increases the accuracy and reliability of consumers' credit risk assessments, results in more predictive and precise consumer credit scoring, and offers a new method of rendering a forward-looking appraisal of an individual's ability to repay a debt or the ability to pay for products and services.
Abstract:
A framework for end-to-end scenario-level automated testing of a multi-technology application. Execution of end-to-end automated testing of a multi-technology application is triggered from a single platform on a local client machine, The end-to-end automated test comprises a plurality of tests each developed from a different testing tool. Test result data is received from the execution of the tests. Test result data is passed from the execution of one of the tests to a different test for use in the execution of the different test. A log of results is generated for the end-to-end automated testing of the multi-technology application based on the received test result data from the execution of the plurality of tests. In some embodiments, execution of a test on a back-end system is triggered from the single platform on the local client machine. In some embodiments, the back-end system is an ABAP back-end system.
Abstract:
A method for convergence of multicast traffic in response to a topology change. The method includes, in response to a change in a multicast topology, redirecting multicast traffic through a network device of a plurality of network devices in the multicast topology and determining a querier status of the network device. The method also includes flooding the multicast traffic through an interface to the network device to facilitate convergence of the multicast traffic. The interface is a connecting point between the network device and another network device of the plurality of network devices.

A distributed wireless communication system includes multiple access points, each with one or more antennas. The access points do not necessarily have synchronized transmitting and receiving radio frequency oscillators. Approaches to channel estimation between the access points and one or more wireless clients account for the lack of synchronization, and do not necessarily require capabilities at the clients that go beyond required or optional features of standard wireless Ethernet (e.g., 802.11n, 802.11g, or 802.11a), thereby supporting “legacy” clients while supporting high data throughput approaches that provide coherent transmission from the multiple antenna of the access points.

Methods and computer readable medium for allowing a user to participate in an online conversation for a head content includes receiving a response from a user for the head content. The response from the user is geo-tagged with a location of the user. A counter indicative of number of responses received for the head content at the location is updated for the head content to include the response from the user. The responses received for the head content from the plurality of users is filtered to generate a subset of the responses related to the location of the user. The subset of responses and an interactive tag cloud for the head content is presented to the user. The subset of responses is presented in a ranked order. The tag cloud identifies one or more locations that have received greatest number of responses from the plurality of users.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods for arranging list elements (e.g., results returned by a user search) according to anticipated “impact.” Thumbnails of the top elements are displayed on a screen of the user's device, with the size of each thumbnail related to that result's anticipated impact. In some embodiments, the arrangement of these thumbnails on the display screen is also based on the anticipated impacts with larger thumbnails placed near the center of the screen and successively smaller thumbnails arranged farther away. Different embodiments may calculate the anticipated impacts differently. The impact can be related to the rank order as assigned by a search engine. Any information about the user's current situation can go into the calculation of the anticipated impact. When the user is searching for information, longer video results may be assigned a larger anticipated impact because they are more likely to contain the wanted information.

A stacked cell for a flow cell battery is presented. The stacked cell is sealed by a gasket between individual components. The gasket is formed such that it seals against leakage of electrolytes and facilitates the flow of electrolytes through the stacked cell. Further, the gasket is formed to minimize the linear expansion of the gasket material with temperature.
