Abstract: A method of a first access point and an access point arranged to provide wireless communication access for a wireless communication system are disclosed. The method comprises determining that a first station is to transmit uplink data in an uplink transmission at a first frequency band in the unlicensed spectrum, assigning a second access point for receiving the uplink transmission, wherein the second access point is covering at least an overlapping area with a coverage area of the first access point, determining a second station targeted for downlink transmission, wherein the downlink transmission is scheduled for at least partly simultaneous transmission with the uplink transmission from the first station and at least partly overlapping the first frequency band, wherein a selection of the second station targeted for downlink transmission is based on a spatial relationship between the first and second stations, assigning antenna weights for an array antenna of the first access point to provide beamforming transmission of the downlink transmission towards the second station and a null towards the second access point, and transmitting the downlink transmission using the antenna weights. The access point is arranged to perform the method.

Abstract: Systems and methods for broadcast/multicast transmission in a distributed cell-free massive Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) network are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for broadcasting/multicasting data to User Equipments (UEs) comprises, at each Access Point (AP) of two or more APs, obtaining long-term Channel State Information (CSI) for a UE(s) and communicating the long-term CSI for the UE to a central processing system. The method further comprises, at the central processing system, receiving the long-term CSI for the UE from each AP, computing a precoding vector (w) for the UE(s) across the APs based on the long-term CSI, and communicating the precoding vector (w) to the APs. The method further comprises, at each AP, obtaining the precoding vector (w) from the central processing system, precoding data to be broadcast/multicast to the UE(s) based on the precoding vector (w), and broadcasting/multicasting the precoded data to the UE(s).

Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) uses a first baseband processor to establish a first communication link with a ground station of a wireless network and a second baseband processor that establishes a second communication link with a user device. Communication data is routed between the user device and the core network through the first communication link and the second communication link. The UAV receives control commands from a ground-based UAV controller that direct the UAV to travel according to a flight trajectory that is proximate to the user device.

Abstract: Provided is a terminal device that is capable of improving the characteristics of a response signal having poor transmission characteristics when ARQ is utilized in communication using an uplink unit band and a plurality of downlink unit bands associated with the uplink unit band. At the time of channel selection, a control unit selects a resource used in sending a response signal from among specific PUCCH resources notified in advance from a base station and PUCCH resources mapped to a CCE, and controls the transmission of the response signal. A response signal generating unit supports implicit signaling with respect to any given response signal, and at the same time as supporting LTE fallback from 2CC, uses a mapping method that, between bits, smooths the number of PUCCH resources that can determine ACK/NACK simply by determining the PUCCH resource regarding which the response signal had notified.

Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for transmission of NR control information in an LTE downlink subframe. At least two symbols in the subframe are allocatable for LTE control information. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises configuring resource elements for LTE transmission and resource elements for NR transmission within the subframe such that NR control information is allocated to resource elements of at least one symbol within the at least two symbols allocatable for the LTE control information in the subframe. The method comprises initiating transmission of the subframe from co-sited antennas, such that the resource elements for LTE transmission and the resource elements for NR transmission are transmitted from the co-sited antennas.

Abstract: A platform hosting a smart distributed antenna system (sDAS) includes a multi-radio access technology (multi-RAT) digital unit (DU) (mDU). The mDU includes a radio management unit (RMU) configured as a software multiplexer enabling broadcast of multiple technologies from a single radio and a single mDU, a field programmable gate array (FPGA) coupled to the RMU and receiving signals digitized in the mDU from analog signals from a wireless carrier, and the FPGA maps received and digitized signals to frequency bands. An optical fiber interface is coupled to the FPGA to provide signals to more remote radio units over a single optical fiber cable. The radio units are coupled to the mDU through only a single optical fiber interface using a daisy-chain configuration. Each radio unit de-maps received digital signals to a specified frequency, converts de-mapped digital signals to RF signals, and provides the signals to a distributed antenna for broadcast.

Abstract: A method for measuring and feeding back channel state information and a device is provided. The method includes: sending, by a first network side device, channel state information (CSI) measurement configuration information to user equipment, where the CSI measurement configuration information includes coordination indication information indicating that the first network side device and at least one second network side device are in a coordination relationship, receiving, by the user equipment, the CSI measurement configuration information from the first network side device, performing measurement based on the CSI measurement configuration information, and feeding back at least one group of CSI to the first network side device based on the measurement configuration information. Accuracy of fed back content and further facilitating scheduling of a base station is improved.
