Abstract: The present disclosure relates to wireless communication methods, terminal devices, and network devices. In one example method, a network device sends timing advance timer (TAT) configuration information to a terminal device, where the TAT configuration information is used by the terminal device to configure duration of a TAT. The terminal device receives the TAT configuration information sent by the network device. The terminal device configures the TAT based on the TAT configuration information, and asynchronously sends uplink data to the network de vice based on a running status of the TAT. Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically activate and deactivate an allocated resource for a UE to make grant-free uplink transmission are provided. In one embodiment, a user equipment (UE) receives a Radio Resource Control (RRC) signal. The RRC signal specifies grant-free (GF) configuration information. The GF configuration information comprises an activation field and at least one other GF resource configuration field. The activation field indicates whether the UE may perform GF uplink (UL) transmissions without waiting for a downlink control information (DCI) message. Then, the UE performs a GF UL transmission in accordance with the GF configuration information in the RRC signal.
