Abstract: A method, apparatus, or computer-readable medium with instructions for beam management for radio frequency (RF) sensing at a wireless device. The wireless device performs a first beamsweep of an RF signal and measures a reflection of the RF signal based on the first beamsweep. The wireless device performs a second beamsweep of the RF signal, wherein the first beamsweep is based on a different parameter than the second beamsweep and measures the reflection of the RF signal based on the second beamsweep. The wireless device selects a beam for RF sensing based on the first beamsweep and the second beamsweep.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information indicating a timing configuration for candidate positions of a discovery reference signal (DRS) window, wherein the DRS window is within an unlicensed millimeter wave (mmW) band, and wherein the timing configuration provides for repetition of a synchronization signal block (SSB) within the DRS window based at least in part on a wraparound scheme; and scan for the SSB in accordance with the timing configuration. Abstract: A method, an apparatus, a base station, and a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication are provided to reduce the retransmission latency for URLLC communications. Upon receiving a downlink data transmission, a UE waits until it completes decoding of the received downlink data transmission before it can send an ACK/NAK report on the decoded downlink data transmission. In case of a decoding failure, the base station cannot start retransmission until the UE finishes the decoding of the downlink data transmission and sends the ACK/NAK report and until the base station finishes decoding of an NAK in the ACK/NAK report. This considerable retransmission latency may not meet stringent latency requirements of some URLLC applications. A two-stage ACK/NAK reporting is disclosed to reduce the retransmission latency where the UE sends an early ACK/NAK report upon partially completing the decoding of the downlink data transmission.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enhancements to channel state information (CSI) reporting. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for selecting a beam to be allocated for transmitting downlink (DL) data to user equipment (UE). In some implementations, a UE receives a reference signal on each of a number of beams associated with a base station, and determines a delay spread value for each beam. The UE identifies each beam for which the determined channel delay spread value is less than a threshold value, and determines a reference signal received power (RSRP) level for each identified beam. The UE transmits an indication of the determined RSRP levels of the identified beams to the base station, and receives, in response to the transmitted indication, a selection of the beam to be allocated for DL transmissions to the UE.

Abstract: In an embodiment, an AP executes a CCA protocol to determine whether to begin transmission within a DMTC window of a radio frame having first and second blocks of subframes. The AP transmits a multi-subframe DRS within the DRS subframes that is scrambled in accordance with a CSI-RS scrambling rule that determines how the second DRS subframe is to be scrambled based on whether the first DRS subframe is included among the first block of subframes or the second block of subframes. At least one UE monitors the DMTC window, and descrambles the CSI-RSs in the multi-DRS subframe based on a CSI-RS descrambling rule that determines how the second DRS subframe is to be descrambled based on whether the first DRS subframe is included among the first block of subframes or the second block of subframes.
