Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications and, more particularly, to ultra low-power paging frames for wake up and discovery. One example apparatus for wireless communications generally includes at least one interface configured to receive via a first radio and a second radio, wherein the at least one interface receives a paging frame from another apparatus via the second radio while the first radio is in a first power state that is lower than a second power state of the second radio; and a processing system configured to take one or more actions based on a command field included in the paging frame.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for estimating angular information, such as angle of arrival (AoA) information or angle of departure (AoD) information.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for using a shortened block acknowledgement (BlockAck) frame capable of acknowledging fragments. Such a shortened BlockAck frame may include a bitmap field having a shorter length than that of a basic BlockAck frame in the IEEE 802.11 standard (i.e.,
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to communication systems, and more particularly, to control resource sets (coresets) for transmitting physical downlink control channels using either a single-carrier waveform or a multicarrier waveform in communications systems operating according to new radio (NR) technologies. In an exemplary method, a base station may determine whether a control resource set (coreset), of time and frequency resources within a control region of system bandwidth and configured for a user equipment (UE), conveys a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) via a single-carrier waveform or a multicarrier waveform, and transmit the PDCCH to the UE using the determined waveform.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for using a block acknowledgement (BlockAck) frame capable of acknowledging fragments. One example method for wireless communications generally includes receiving a plurality of protocol data units (PDUs) (e.g., media access control (MAC) protocol data units (MPDUs)); determining whether each of the PDUs was successfully received and whether each of the PDUs is associated with a non-fragmented service data unit (SDU) (e.g., MAC service data unit (MSDU)) or a fragmented SDU; and outputting for transmission a BlockAck frame comprising a bitmap field indicating a receive status for the non-fragmented and fragmented SDUs based on the determination.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus is configured to identify interference information associated with at least one traffic stream. The apparatus is further configured to transmit a message to an access point. The message includes a stream ID associated with the interference information and with the at least one traffic stream. The message includes the interference information, and the interference information includes an offset value and an interval/duration value.

One example apparatus for wireless communications generally includes at least one interface configured to obtain a frame via a first radio and a second radio, wherein the interface receives a frame from another apparatus via the second radio while the first radio is in a first power state; and a processing system configured to take one or more actions based on a command field included in the frame. A second example apparatus for wireless communications generally includes at least one interface configured to obtain a frame via a first radio and a second radio, wherein the interface receives a frame from another apparatus via the second radio while the first radio is in a first power state; and a processing system configured to take one or more actions based on whether or not an authentication code included in the frame matches a local authentication code.

Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, the apparatus, being a first wireless device, establishes a session with a second wireless device based on a first set of link parameters and transmits, to the second wireless device, information regarding a second set of link parameters for use by the second wireless device for subsequent communication during the session. In another aspect, the apparatus establishes a session with a second wireless device based on a first set of link parameters, receives, from the second wireless device, information regarding a second set of link parameters, and communicates with the second wireless device based on the information regarding the second set of link parameters.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium for DPD are provided. An example method may include receiving, from a base station, an uplink grant associated with one or more resources. The example method may further include transmitting, to the UE via the one or more resources, a DPD training signal at a first port of a plurality of ports. The example method may further include receiving, at a second port of the plurality of ports, the DPD training signal.
