摘要: In an example, a companion user account is generated without a user specifying a username of the companion user account, wherein the companion user account is different than a primary user account of the user. A first interface, that provides access to resources associated with the primary user account, is displayed via a client application. A second interface, that provides access to resources associated with the companion user account, is displayed via the client application. A content targeting profile associated with the companion user account is generated based upon activity associated with the companion user account and/or one or more interests selected by the user. A subset of content items is selected, from among a plurality of content items and based upon the content targeting profile, for presentation via the second interface associated with the companion user account. A content item of the subset of content items is displayed via the second interface.

摘要: Devices often receive content items to be saved for later presentation to a user. In some instances, the content of the message is analyzed to retrieve supplemental information from external data sources, such as a map to a location discussed in a message. However, such supplementing often fails to reflect the personal context of the content item to the user, who may not easily recall the associated personal context when the content item is later presented. Instead, for a content item to be saved, a device may evaluate personal data sources to identify the personal context of the content item to the user, and add personal context annotations to a content item record of the saved content item. Later, during a presentation of the content item to the user, the personal context annotations may be included as a reflection of the personal context of the content item to the user.

摘要: This specification is generally directed to techniques for automatically transitioning applications-especially those that enable exchange of messages between users-into and/or out of a private state based on a variety of signals associated with the messages and/or the participants themselves. In various implementations, an ongoing message exchange thread between two or more participants operating two or more respective message exchange clients may be examined. Based at least in part on the examining, a likelihood may be determined that message(s) directed by one of the participants to another of the participants as part of the ongoing message exchange thread would be deemed private by at least a given participant of the two or more participants. A determination may be made of whether the determined likelihood satisfies one or more thresholds, and in response, one or more of the message exchange clients may be transitioned into a private state.
