Abstract: A device may include a light-folded projector that may include an infrared (IR) light emitter and a light folding element. The light folding element may receive IR light emitted from the IR light emitter and fold the IR light one or more times to guide the IR light passing through the light folding element to exit the device to an environment. The device may also include a detector that may detect and/or recognize an object in the environment using the IR light from the light-folded projector, and a front-facing camera to capture images of the environment in front of the device.

Abstract: An electronic device may include wireless circuitry having an on-chip transformer. The transformer may convey a radio-frequency signal and may include a primary coil and a secondary coil. The primary coil may have a center tap. A distributed capacitor array (DCA) may be coupled to the primary coil around the center tap. The DCA may include switchable capacitors coupled in parallel between ground and points on the primary coil on either side of the center tap. When active, each switchable capacitor contributes a different weighting to the operation of the transformer based on its distance from the center tap. A set of one or more of the switchable capacitors may be activated to contribute an asymmetric weighting to the operation of the transformer that mitigates process-related asymmetry in the transformer. This may serve to mitigate undesired common mode to direct mode signal conversion by the transformer.

Abstract: Systems and processes for operating an intelligent automated assistant to provide extension of digital assistant services are provided. An example method includes, at an electronic device having one or more processors, receiving, from a first user, a first speech input representing a user request. The method further includes obtaining an identity of the first user; and in accordance with the user identity, providing a representation of the user request to at least one of a second electronic device or a third electronic device. The method further includes receiving, based on a determination of whether the second electronic device or the third electronic device, or both, is to provide the response to the first electronic device, the response to the user request from the second electronic device or the third electronic device. The method further includes providing a representation of the response to the first user.

Determining the position of the first body portion is based on a distance between the device and the fixed spatial point and based on a distance between the device and the first body portion. The method includes generating, based on the position of the first body portion, pose information for the first body portion relative to the fixed spatial point.
