Abstract: A liquid-collection canister includes a liquid collection chamber defined by at least one wall and a first and second gas-communication pathway formed within the at least one wall. A first aperture is positioned between the first gas-communication pathway and the liquid collection chamber to allow gaseous communication between the liquid collection chamber and the first gas-communication pathway. A second aperture is positioned between the second gas-communication pathway and the liquid collection chamber to allow gaseous communication between the liquid collection chamber and the second gas-communication pathway. A first and a second liquid-air separator are positioned over the first aperture and the second aperture, respectively, to substantially prevent liquid passing through the first and second apertures.

Abstract: The present invention provides a laminated sheet, a cylindrical filter element, and a filtration kit that are used to perform water filtration. Specifically, the laminated sheet used to perform water filtration includes: a pre-filtration layer, the pre-filtration layer including a first fiber having a diameter within a range of 1-5 μm and a second fiber having a diameter within a range of 200-900 nm, and the pre-filtration layer having a pore diameter within a range of 0.2-1 μm; and a fine filtration layer, the fine filtration layer having a pore diameter within a range of 0.02-0.5 μm, wherein the pore diameter of the pre-filtration layer is greater than the pore diameter of the fine filtration layer. The laminated sheet used to perform water filtration and the cylindrical filter element and the filtration kit including the same according to the technical solution of the present invention have an extremely small pressure difference, high filtration efficiency, and a long service life.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a dressing assembly may include a dressing bolster, an interface seal, and a base layer. The dressing bolster may include a first side, a second side, and a periphery. The interface seal may be coupled at the periphery of the dressing bolster. The base layer may include a base layer flange configured to be coupled to the dressing and to extend beyond the periphery of the dressing bolster. The dressing assembly may be suitable for treating a tissue site with reduced pressure and for creating an apposition force between a first portion of the tissue site and a second portion of the tissue site. Other systems, apparatus, and methods are disclosed.
