Embodiments of the present invention provide a method includes: receiving a reference signal sent by a base station; selecting, based on the reference signal, a precoding matrix from a codebook, where a precoding matrix w included in the codebook is a product of three matrices being W1, Z, and W2, that is, W=W1ZW2, where both W1 and Z are block diagonal matrices, W1=a formula (I), Z=a formula (II), each of W1 and Z includes at least one block matrix, that is, NB≧1, and each column of each block matrix Zi in the matrix Z has the following structure formula (III); and sending a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) to the base station, where the PMI corresponds to the selected precoding matrix, and is used by the base station to obtain the selected precoding matrix w according to the PMI.

The present invention discloses an enhanced physical downlink control channel (EPDCCH) candidate determining method and device, and relates to the field of wireless communications, so as to avoid EPDCCH blocking and improve reliability of control information transmission. The method of the present invention includes: determining an EPDCCH resource set p in a subframe k, where the EPDCCH resource set p includes NECCE,p,k=q×r enhanced control channel elements (ECCEs), an EPDCCH candidate of an EPDCCH with an aggregation level being L corresponds to L ECCEs having consecutive reference numerals, and an EPDCCH candidate is capable of carrying an EPDCCH; and determining the number of EPDCCH candidates at the aggregation level L of a carrier corresponding to an index Cellindex and an ECCE corresponding to each EPDCCH candidate, where the ECCE corresponding to each EPDCCH candidate at the aggregation level L is related to the index Cellindex.

A quantity of antenna ports of a transmitting apparatus is signalled in a wireless communication system. The quantity of antenna ports of the transmitting apparatus is encoded into a first type information and a second type information. The first type information is transmitted on a physical broadcast channel (PBCH); and the second type information is transmitted on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The PDSCH is transmitted on at least one antenna port indicated by the first type information.

A method in a Central Node (CN), a method in a Remote Node (RN), and a method in a wireless communication system for allocating reference signals to be used for uplink transmission are disclosed. According to one aspect reference signals are allocated with a method comprising the steps of: determining in a CN a number of reference signals N to be used for uplink transmission by a Remote Node RN; indicating to the RN the number of reference signals N to be used for uplink transmission by the RN; configuring an uplink transmission by the RN with at most the number of reference signals N; and performing by the RN the uplink transmission with at most the number of reference signals Non transmit antennas comprised in the RN. The present disclosure further discloses a CN and a RN relating to the methods.

A method and a base station of transmitting a data block are provided. At least one data block is transmitted via at least one of at least two downlink frequency bands. A modulation symbol and N spreading sequences are received. Acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (A/N) information is determined in accordance with the modulation symbol and the N spreading sequences. The modulation symbol and the N spreading sequences jointly determine the A/N information. And the at least one data block may be retransmitted depending on the A/N information determined.

Various embodiments of the present invention provide a pilot resource allocation method, where the method includes: determining, according to an aggregation level and multiplexing information of an enhanced control channel element E-CCE in a resource block pair, the number of resource elements REs that are allocated to and occupied by a demodulation pilot signal DMRS in the resource block pair. Various embodiments of the present invention further provide a corresponding user equipment. By implementing the method and device, the efficiency of time-frequency resource utilization can be improved.
