Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication for a reference signal to be transmitted on a first carrier, wherein the UE is configured for reference signal carrier switching between the first carrier and a second carrier associated with uplink data channel or control channel transmission. The UE may receive an indication for uplink transmission switching between the second carrier and a third carrier. The UE may transmit, or suspend transmission, on the third carrier during a time associated with transmission of the reference signal on the first carrier based at least in part on the UE being configured for reference signal carrier switching and uplink transmission switching. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a downlink control information (DCI) message associated with scheduling transmissions for the UE on a plurality of component carriers. The UE may determine, for at least a first component carrier of the plurality of component carriers, that a frequency resource allocation field of the DCI message comprises an indication of a value that is invalid for frequency resource allocation on the first component carrier. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the invalid indication and using a subset of fields of the DCI message corresponding to the first component carrier, that one or more component carriers of the plurality of component carriers are dormant.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback operations for multicast communications are provided. A first user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), a multicast feedback configuration indicating a first resource configuration for a negative-acknowledgement (NACK) feedback mode; and a second resource configuration for an acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback mode. The first UE receives, from the BS, a first multicast communication. The first UE transmits, to the BS, a NACK feedback for the first multicast communication based on the first resource configuration. The first UE receives, from the BS, a second multicast communication.
