Abstract:
An effective amount of perfume/cyclodextrin complex is applied to fabric that is preferably at least partially wetted. A preferred method applies said complex to said fabric in an automatic laundry dryer. The perfume/cyclodextrin complexes are preferably incorporated into solid, dryer-activated, fabric treatment (conditioning) compositions, preferably containing fabric softeners, more preferably cationic and/or nonionic fabric softeners. The complexes provide fabrics with perfume benefits when they are rewetted after drying. Volatile perfume materials including those materials that are commonly associated with "freshness" can be applied to the fabrics in an effective way. Clay provides protection for said perfume/cyclodextrin complexes, especially when certain materials like some nonionic fabric softeners and/or fatty acids are present and in contact with said perfume/cyclodextrin complexes.
Abstract:
Polymeric soil release agents that have high viscosities when molten are difficult to process. Certain organic materials can be added to such agents to lower the viscosity and improve processing. Examples of such organic materials include fatty acids, some nonionic ethylene glycol derivatives, polyethylene or polypropylene glycols and their short alkyl chain ethers, certain polyhydroxy and alkyl ether solvents, and aryl ethers of propylene glycol.
Abstract:
A substantially nonabrasive, liquid car cleaner composition which cleans car surfaces without an external source of water to wash or rinse. The product is a composition of up to 30% polymeric solids, up to 95% liquid carrier and a suspension aid. It is good for cleaning painted, metal and vinyl surfaces. It does not leave unsightly residue embedded in the texture of vinyl surfaces. A container/applicator kit comprising a bristled fibrous pad and container is also provided.

Abstract:
A tamper-evident securement device for use in securing closed a drawer of a furniture, comprising: a flexible extending closure member comprising an at least partially flexible attaching portion disposed within the furniture, and a flexible locking portion comprising a distal end section that traverses a gap between the drawer and a drawer opening when the drawer is closed, and provides an aperture that is disposed outside the furniture; and a securement member disposed within the furniture that attaches the extending closure member to an inner surface of a top side of the furniture; wherein a lock device can be inserted through the aperture of the flexible locking portion. The tamper-evident securement device may employ a shield plate. For installation of the tamper-evident securement device, an implement may be utilized.
Abstract:
A device for securing closed a drawer of a dresser, cabinet or desk. The device includes a base that is secured to an interior surface of the frame, which cannot be accessed when the drawer is closed within the drawer opening of the frame, and an extending member. The extending member has a first end portion that attaches releasably to the base, and a second end that extends exteriorly through the drawer opening and between the drawer and the frame. The device is not built into or integral with the drawer or the frame of the dresser, cabinet or desk.
Abstract:
A locking system for standard file drawer cabinets, and in particular steel-constructed filing cabinets. The system includes a first locking device including a main elongated member that includes a locking end portion and an opposing attaching end portion, the attaching end portion including an upturned wall at the distal end of the attaching end, and a laterally-extending hooking member extending from an upper end of the upturned wall toward the locking end portion, substantially parallel to the main elongated member, the hooking member spaced apart from the main elongated member at the attaching end by a gap having a dimension, wherein the gap accommodates insertion of the thickness of an inwardly extending wall of a filing cabinet that defines the upper edge of the file drawer opening.
