Abstract:
An oscillating self-centering traffic-door that has a beam that contains engages an oscillator supported by a pin and plate that may enable 270 degrees of motion.
Abstract:
A folding lid for a cabinet. The folding lid or cover (8) can be displaced between an opened position and a closed position. The folding cover includes a first cover element (9) which can be fastened to a cupboard cover (2) in a manner that permits it to pivot around a horizontally arranged first axis (10); a second cover element (11) which is joined to the first cover element (9) in a manner that permits it to pivot around a horizontally arranged second axis (12); and a cover positioner (14) with a positioning arm (13), which can be fastened to a side wall (3) in a manner that permits it to pivot around a horizontally arranged third axis (15) and which is joined to the second cover element (11) in a manner that permits it to pivot around a horizontally arranged fourth axis (16), whereby the distance between the first axis (10) and the second axis (12) is greater than the distance between the second axis (12) and the fourth axis (16) and is greater than the distance between the second axis (12) and a lower edge (52) of the second cover element (11).
Abstract:
A door system includes a door formed of a plurality of panels and movable between a closed position and an open position. Hinges join adjacent together adjacent panels. A reinforcing member is attached to the panels and extends substantially the longitudinal length thereof. At least one roller carrier may be mounted interiorly of the reinforcing member that is adapted to receive a roller assembly. A hinge may be directly mechanically coupled to both the roller assembly and the reinforcing member by a fastener. A flexible washer may be included that retains together the top and bottom leaf of the hinge prior to installation.
Abstract:
An elevator door system includes an elevator car having a front face defining a door opening. At least one elevator door is coupled to the front face of the elevator car for movement between an open position exposing the door opening and a closed position covering the door opening. At least one drive motor is mounted on the front face of the elevator car and is disposed between a lower edge and an upper edge of the elevator car. The drive motor is drivingly coupled to the elevator door for moving the elevator door between the open and the closed positions.
Abstract:
Track guided doors, such as upward acting multipanel garage doors are provided with roller guide member support brackets on opposite side edges of the panels for supporting guide rollers disposed in the opposed guide tracks. The support brackets include bearing bores formed by bore walls of the support brackets for supporting elongated stem or shaft portions of the roller guide members. The roller guide members may include leaf springs mounted in grooves on the guide member shaft portions or the support bracket may include elastically deflectable clips mounted thereon, the leaf springs and clips providing resilient members for engagement with the stem parts, respectively, to bias them into engagement with the bore walls of the support brackets to minimize noise generated by the guide members during movement of the door.
Abstract:
A pulley cradle arrangement for a screen doors, in particular, having a pulley cradle receptacle (23) that is inserted from above into a hollow frame section (1) and is clamped there. The pulley cradle receptacle (23) holds the pulley cradle support (25), inside of which the pulley cradle (27) and its running rollers (28) can be shifted vertically by a knurled screw (89). All parts can be pushed together without the use of tools and snap together by means of elastic holders. The pulley cradle (27) can be removed from the pulley cradle support (25) by pushing on its front surface and thus the sliding door can be removed from the guide rails.
Abstract:
A housing for an automatic door operator comprising a header section, a closing section and a terminal section. The header section includes two legs and a connecting leg which connects the two legs to one another. One of the two legs includes an end portion having a projection with a circular cross-section and an undercut. The closing section includes another projection with a circular cross-section and an indentation at one end and the terminal section at the other end. The closing section is removably attached to the header section through the engagement of the projection of the closing section with the undercut and the engagement of the projection of the one of the two legs and the indentation. The housing serves to house mechanical and electrotechnical components for the automatic the door operator.
Abstract:
Guide rollers for upward-acting track guided doors are formed of dual durometer plastic materials wherein a hub portion of the guide roller is formed of a relatively hard moldable plastic material having a durometer of about Rockwell R 120. A tire or tread is preferably molded over the hub and is characterized by a thermoplastic elastomer material, such as urethane, having a durometer of about 70 to 90 Shore A. A circumferential recess may be formed in the rim of the roller hub to receive a tread which is not molded over the full extent of the rim. The tire or tread may have an arcuate thin-walled, a somewhat elliptical or a circular segment shape in cross section. The guide roller provides for quiet long-lasting operation in guiding upward-acting sectional and one-piece garage doors and the like.
Abstract:
A housing for an automatic door operator comprising a header section, a closing section and a terminal section. The header section includes two legs and a connecting leg which connects the two legs to one another. One of the two legs includes an end portion having a ball projection and an undercut. The closing section includes a ball projection and an indentation at one end and the terminal section at the other end. The closing section is removably attached to the header section through the engagement of the ball projection of the closing section with the undercut and the engagement of the ball projection of the one of the two legs and the indentation. The housing serves to house mechanical and electrotechnical components for the automatic door operator.
Abstract:
A device is structured to be integrated with a major components such as a movable unit and a stator contained in a rail member for easy removal from downward of the lintel, thus eliminating adjustment work on site. Since the door may be simply installed on the hanger, it can be easily installed and removed. Also, the stator and the hanger with rollers may be connected by clamping a projection strip formed on a bottom face of the stator from left and right sides thereof with the hanger with rollers installed on the door, or instead by engaging the hanger with rollers with an engagement portion provided on the stator from both side thereof. Consequently, connecting and releasing of the stator and the hanger is simplified and the ease of maintenance is improved.
