    Abstract: The invention relates to a system of producing MFC (micro fibrillated cellulose) having a process device (30) of a pulper, a refiner or a screen configured to process MFC suspension to consistency of 0.5-5%. The system has a continuous pressing means (15; 25, 26) configured to dry the MFC suspension to a consistency of 6-60%. A method of producing MFC has at least one process stage (30) which processes a MFC suspension to a consistency of 0.5-5% by a process device (30). In the process stage the MFC suspension is pulped in a pulping stage in a pulper and/or refined in a refining stage by a refiner and/or screened in a screening stage by a screen. The MFC suspension having the consistency of 0.5-5% is dried in a drying stage of continuous pressing (15, 25, 26) by continuous a pressing device (15, 25, 26) to a consistency of 6-60%.

    Abstract: A processing plate (4, 12) for mechanically processing pulp. The plate has projecting parts (6, 7, 14, 15). The projecting parts (7, 15) have a radially inner part (28) having an inclined ascending wall (29) towards the outer periphery (23) of the plate and a radially outer part (30) having an inclined descending wall (31) towards the outer periphery (23) of the plate (4, 12). The inner and outer parts (28, 30) are radially coupled to each other by a ridge (32) along a coupling line (CL).     Abstract: A blade segment (4, 8) for a refiner (1) for refining fibrous material has a first (20) and a second (21) end edge and a first (22) and a second (23) side edge opposite to the first side edge (22) and a refining surface (5, 9) having blade bars (27, 27a, 27b) and grooves (28, 28a, 28b) therebetween on a front surface (25). At least one opening (14, 15) is on at least at one side edge (22, 23) which extends through the whole thickness of the blade segment body (24). There is at least one feed groove (29) on the refining surface, the feed groove (29) extending from the opening and crossing the blade bars and the blade grooves for feeding the material to be refined across the refining surface.     Abstract: Recycled fibers are produced from MDF or HDF containing material, for instance for use in MDF or HDF production by steaming (2) the MDF or HDF containing material for a predetermined time to obtain steamed material, subjecting the steamed material to a pulping process (3) to obtain a slurry, screening (4a, 4b) the slurry to remove oversize particles to obtain a screened slurry, dewatering (5) the screened slurry to obtain dewatered fibers and refining or fluffing (6) the dewatered fibers to obtain said recycled fibers. A method for producing MDF or HDF boards using such recycled fibers is also provided. Corresponding systems for producing recycled fibers and producing MDF or HDF boards are also provided.

    Abstract: A continuous disc filter device including a slurry containing bath, and a disc filter assembly comprising a rotor assembly supported to turn on a horizontal axis and having a filtrate outlet end, a plurality of filter discs spaced apart along the length of the rotor assembly horizontal axis, a plurality of spaced apart discharge conduits, and a plurality of disc filter section support and filtrate channel arms. Each discharge conduit is connected at one end to the rotor assembly filtrate outlet end and connected to respective disc filter section filtrate outlets, and each discharge conduit filtrate passageway is positioned between adjacent filter sections.
