Abstract: A device for treating tissue includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, the capsule releasably coupled to a proximal portion of the device and clip jaws, proximal ends of which are slidably received within the channel of the capsule so that the clip jaws are movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. Clip jaws are configured so that a distance between the distal ends of the clip jaws in an open configuration is between 15 and 18 millimeters. Clip jaws further include barbs extending from a distal portion thereof.

When the proximal end of the electrode is coupled to the distal end of the shaft, fluid delivered through the lumen is emitted from the electrode.

Abstract: An endoscopic tissue fastening device may include a body having a first portion and a second portion arranged alongside the first portion. The second portion may extend distally of the first portion and may terminate in a distal end face of the body. The device may further include a tissue fastening assembly having a fastening head with a proximal end and a distal end. The fastening head may be deflectable at a location between the proximal end and the distal end of the fastening head. The tissue fastening assembly may be received within a lumen of the body. Further, the body may be moveable between an unarticulated configuration and an articulated configuration. In the articulated configuration, a central longitudinal axis of the second portion of the body may be substantially parallel with a central longitudinal axis of the tissue fastening assembly.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure pertains to ultrasonic treatment devices that comprise: (a) a flexible elongate body having a proximal end and a distal end, the flexible elongate body being configured for insertion to a target site within a patient; (b) an effector assembly disposed at the distal end of the flexible elongate body, the effector assembly comprising a piezoelectric transducer and an end effector; and (c) flexible electrical conductors in electrical communication with the piezoelectric transducer, the flexible electrical conductors extending along a length of the flexible elongate body, wherein transference of electrical energy to mechanical motion takes place via the piezoelectric transducer at the target site. Other aspects of the present disclosure pertain to systems employing such ultrasonic treatment devices and methods of treatment using such ultrasonic treatment devices.

Abstract: A tissue cutting device includes a flexible elongate body including a channel extending therethrough, a distal member connected to a distal end of the elongate body. The recess extends includes a receiving structure at a distal end thereof. A cutting element is slidably received within the channel and the lumen so that the cutting element is movable between an open tissue-receiving configuration and a closed tissue-gripping configuration, in which a distal portion of the cutting element extends across the recess such that the distal end of the cutting element is received within the receiving structure, a portion of a length of the distal portion extending radially beyond an exterior surface of the distal member.
