Abstract: This application discloses a data packet transmission method, a receiving device, and a sending device. The method includes: receiving, by a receiving device, a data packet, where the data packet includes at least one pair of a delimiter and an information element; the delimiter is used to separate two adjacent information elements; the delimiter includes a cyclic redundancy code field and an information element type field; in each pair of a delimiter and an information element, the information element type field is used to indicate a type of the information element; and one type of information element is uniquely corresponding to one information element length; and parsing, by the receiving device, the information element based on the cyclic redundancy code field and the information element type field.

Abstract: A data communication method and a related apparatus are provided, and the data communication method includes: constructing, by an access device, a beacon frame, where the beacon frame includes a newly added field, and the newly added field represents multiple data guard interval lengths supported by the access device; and broadcasting, by the access device, the beacon frame, so that a terminal selects an available guard interval length matching a data guard interval length supported by the terminal from the beacon frame, and performs data communication with the access device by using the available guard interval length. By using the present invention, data communication between the access device and the terminal can be implemented when the access device supports multiple data guard interval lengths.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the communications field, and in particular, to a method, an access point, and a station for data transmission in a wireless local area network, so as to reduce energy consumption in a data transmission process. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the STA may not listen to a trigger frame after receiving the first indication information, and wakes up at the first target wakeup moment. In addition, after waking up, the STA does not miss time for listening to the target trigger frame. This reduces energy consumption in a data transmission process.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and an apparatus for transmitting a trigger frame in a wireless local area network. The method for transmitting a trigger frame in a wireless local area network includes: generating, by an access point, a trigger frame carrying a target media access control MAC function, where the trigger frame includes indication information, the indication information is used to instruct a first station to send a MAC frame corresponding to the target MAC function, and the indication information is used to instruct a second station not to perform the target MAC function; and sending, by the access point, the trigger frame. In the present disclosure, the indication information is used to instruct the first station to send the MAC frame corresponding to the target MAC function without limiting the second station, so that data sending manners of the first station and the second station can be flexibly controlled.

Abstract: An access point generates a beacon frame that carries a trigger frame information element comprising sending information of a trigger frame for indicating a sending period of the trigger frame; and sends the beacon frame. In this case, the station switches to an active state, and receives the trigger frame by listening to the channel, and the station performs uplink transmission according to indication of the trigger frame after receiving the trigger frame. In this way, when signaling overheads are not increased and reliability is ensured, a station can learn of a sending time of a trigger frame, and the station remains in a receiving state in an appropriate period of time.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, and in particular, to an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) hybrid transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: An access point may send a trigger frame, to schedule stations supporting different standards to perform OFDMA uplink transmission, where the stations supporting different standards support different bandwidth sizes. The stations receiving the trigger frame send a trigger-based physical layer protocol data unit (TB PPDU) to the access point, where the TB PPDU includes uplink data of the stations supporting different standards, and the stations of different standards may send the uplink data by using RUs located in bandwidths respectively supported by the stations. Therefore, a channel can be fully utilized to improve frequency domain resource utilization.
