Abstract:
A user equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system is described. The UE includes a long term evolution (LTE) transceiver for receiving configuration information from a network, and a processor for detecting an in-device coexistence (IDC) condition according to the configuration information and initiating a transmission of information on the detected IDC condition to the network. The information on the detected IDC condition comprises frequency information, and the transmission is initiated after the UE has failed to resolve the detected IDC condition on its own.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing cell reselection in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) in an idle mode camps on a second cell, and receives reselection information for dual connectivity, which indicates cell reselection to a first cell or cell reselection to a frequency of the first cell, from the second cell. If the UE supports dual connectivity, the UE performs cell reselection based on the received reselection information for dual connectivity.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for reporting multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) information by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: determining whether or not to permit the logging of MBMS information; logging the MBMS information if the logging of the MBMS information is permitted; and reporting the logged MBMS information to a network. Whether or not to permit the logging of the MBMS information is determined on the basis of logging scope.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for communicating carried out by a terminal in a wireless communication system supporting a multiple access network. The method comprises receiving from a first access network a report configuration of a second access network, wherein the report configuration of the second access network involves specifying information reporting criteria of the second access network, searching the second access network and discovers a second access network entity, determining whether the second access network entity satisfies the information reporting criteria of the second access network, and reporting to the first access network information on the second access network entity when the information reporting criteria of the second access network are satisfied. The report configuration of the second access network may include an entity list which includes at least one second access network entity that is allowed to process traffic of the first access network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a random access (RA) procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) establishes connection with a first node and a second node, and transmits an RA preamble to the second node. If a number of RA preamble transmissions reaches a maximum number, the UE stops uplink (UL) transmission of all cells in a group to which the second node belongs, and transmits an indication indicating that transmission of the RA preamble has failed to the first node.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for processing traffic by a terminal in a wireless communication system supporting a multiple access network. The method comprises receiving from a first access network traffic routing information, and processing traffic on the first access network based on the traffic routing information. The traffic routing information indicates whether at least one unit of traffic on the first access network can be processed through a second access network. Processing the traffic based on the traffic routing information involves determining whether the traffic can be processed through the second access network, and processing the traffic through the second access network when the traffic can be processed through the second access network.
Abstract:
Provided is a cell reselection method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method includes: receiving first priority information for at least one frequency; receiving second priority information for the one or more frequencies; and selectively applying, based on the state of the terminal, any one of the first priority information and second priority information and performing cell reselection. The first priority information is provided through a connection rejection message and provides instructions on the priority for the one or more frequencies to be lowered. The second priority information is provided from a current cell through system information.
Abstract:
A method and a user equipment (UE) are described for transmitting power headroom (PH) information in a wireless communication system. A primary cell and at least one secondary cell are configured with the UE. One logical channel identifier (LCID) field is configured in a medium access control (MAC) sub-header. The one LCID field indicates a presence of a PH MAC control element (CE). A MAC protocol data unit (PDU) comprising the MAC sub-header and the PH MAC CE is transmitted. The PH MAC CE includes PH information for both the primary cell and the at least one secondary cell.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for performing autonomously search for a cell in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving configuration information including frequency information; autonomously performing search for a cell in accordance with the frequency information; and transmitting a proximity indication about a detected cell when the cell is detected on a frequency identified by the frequency information.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a time alignment timer handling in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a user equipment (UE) may initiate a transmission of failure information for a cell group based on detecting a failure on the cell group. The UE may consider a time alignment (TA) timer related to a TA configuration for the cell group as expired based on initiating the transmission of the failure information. After transmitting the failure information, the UE may receive a configuration for failure recovery of the failure on the cell group. The UE may restart the TA timer related to the TA configuration for the cell group based on receiving the configuration for failure recovery.
