    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for wireless operation in the 42-49 GHz band are disclosed. Apparatuses of a station (STA) or access point (AP) are disclosed, where the apparatuses comprise processing circuitry configured to transmit a first physical (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) on a 42-48 GHz band in accordance with a subcarrier spacing of 2.5 KHz and Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) period of 0.4 μs, where the apparatus is configured to transmit at least on a 160 MHz subchannel, a 320 MHz subchannel, a 640 MHz subchannel, and a 1280 MHz subchannel. The processing circuitry further configured to decode a second PPDU on the 42-48 GHz band in accordance with the subcarrier spacing of 2.5 KHz and an inverse DFT period of 0.4 μs.

    Abstract: Embodiments of a Next Generation Vehicle-to-Everything (NGV) station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The NGV STA may encode a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) in accordance with an enhanced PHY layer protocol. The PPDU may be encoded for transmission in a dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) frequency band. The NGV STA may encode the PPDU to include a preamble, one or more data portions, and one or more midambles. The one or more midambles may occur within the PPDU after the preamble and after at least one of the data portions. The NGV STA may encode a preamble that includes an NGV SIG-A field that indicates: whether the PPDU includes the one or more midambles, and a periodicity of the one or more midambles.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to wake up receiver (WUR) frequency division multiple access (FDMA) transmission. A device may cause to send a wake up receiver (WUR) beacon frame on a WUR beacon operating channel to one or more station devices. The device may determine a first wake-up frame to be sent on a first WUR operating channel, wherein the first WUR operating channel is associated with one or more frequency division multiple access (FDMA) channels used for transmitting one or more wake-up frames to the one or more station devices. An apparatus of an EHT access point (AP) or EHT station (STA), where the apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to: encode a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU), the PPDU including a EHT preamble, the EHT preamble including a legacy preamble portion and a EHT preamble portion, the legacy preamble including a legacy short training field (L-SFT), a legacy long-training field (L-LTF), and a legacy signal field (L-SIG), the EHT preamble portion comprising an EHT short signal field (EHT S-SIG), the EHT S-SIG including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) subfield indicating a MCS of a subsequent data portion. The PPDU may be transmitted on a distributed or contiguous resource unit (RU) allocation. The RU may be configured to not straddle two physical 20 MHz subchannels.
