Abstract: A user equipment, apparatus, and method receives from a base station, for each bandwidth part of a plurality of bandwidth parts provided in a bandwidth of one carrier, information indicating a frequency location of the bandwidth part and information indicating a subcarrier spacing applied to the corresponding bandwidth part, and receives, from the base station, broadcast information including information on a special bandwidth part which the user equipment should use initially. A base station transmits to a user equipment, for each bandwidth part of a plurality of bandwidth parts provided in a bandwidth of one carrier, information indicating a frequency location of the bandwidth part and information indicating a subcarrier spacing applied to the corresponding bandwidth part, and transmits to the user equipment, broadcast information including information on a special bandwidth part which the user equipment should use initially.

The delivery acknowledgement information indicates that the radio terminal has received the information. The transmitter stops transmitting the information to the radio terminal in response to reception of the delivery acknowledgement information.

Abstract: In a communication method according to one embodiment, a base station in a LTE system transmits to a user equipment, configuration information configuring an LTE-WLAN Aggregation (LWA) bearer using both radio resources of the LTE system and radio resource of a WLAN system. The user equipment transmits, in response to the amount of data belonging to the LWA bearer being below the threshold value, the data by using the radio resource of either the LTE system or the WLAN system.
