A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message from a base station, and the configuration message may include an indication of one or more partial bands for channel state information reporting. Each partial band of the one or more partial bands may be less than a system bandwidth and include a plurality of frequency domain units associated with a precoder. The UE may select one or more antenna ports for each partial band of the one or more partial bands based on the configuration message and calculate channel state information including a linear combination of the selected one or more antenna ports for each partial band. The methods, systems, and devices may enable a user equipment (UE) to receive a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration message that indicates one or more first reference signals from a first node or one or more SRS transmission beams associated with the first node and one or more second reference signals from a second node. The UE may determine an SRS transmission beam for transmitting an SRS signal based on a procedure for determining SRS transmission beams and the one or more reference signals from the first and second nodes. The UE may transmit the SRS signal using the SRS transmission beam.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication of a monitoring window used by the base station to monitor for uplink transmissions from the UE. The UE may receive a control signal scheduling uplink resources for an uplink transmission by the UE on at least a first component carrier, the first component carrier in a first radio frequency spectrum band. The UE may reconfigure, in response to the received control signal, a first transmit chain of the UE from a second component carrier in a second radio frequency spectrum band to the first component carrier in the first radio frequency spectrum band for the uplink transmission. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the indicated monitoring window and using at least the reconfigured first transmit chain, the uplink transmission on the first component carrier using the scheduled uplink resources.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may group, into a common slot, a first plurality of consecutive uplink slots included in a first component carrier and a second plurality of consecutive uplink slots included in a second component carrier. The UE may determine whether an uplink transmission is scheduled in at least one of the first plurality of consecutive uplink slots or the second plurality of consecutive uplink slots. The UE may transmit on the first component carrier or on the second component carrier in the common slot or determine whether to switch a transmit chain based at least in part on whether an uplink transmission is scheduled in at least one of the first plurality of consecutive uplink slots or the second plurality of consecutive uplink slots.
